What i want to achive and most important than anything is
Self-realizationi just love music so so so much, that if i don't ever get to make something beautiful enough for me to love i would feel very, very disappointed of myself, basically i want to make something with artistic value, it think it would make me feel like i did something good in my life that could (or couldnt, but anyways) last and be enjoyed by others, and even though i also like to draw, i prefer and enjoy music so much more than paintings. (gone off topic here).
I have this feeling when i love something this much, of wanting to create my own (
original and creative!) version of it (it = music) and a lot of other things, but not that much). Something that i like about this idea, is that i could make the perfect "song" or something like that because i usually think like "oh, this sounds good but if it was more like this it would be perfect", same happens with videogames /)^3^(\
Despite self realization might sound selfish, if others get to enjoy my music, i would love that so so much =) So it is something i want to achieve.
it would remind me of how i felt when i listened to songs that i like, and it is always a joy to know you make someone else happy or enjoyably sad (if it is a sad song), and stuff, you know. ^^
other things that come along and wouldnt be bad at all are popularity, and maybe profit (as last, but who does not like money?)
cant thing of anything else at the moment ^^ but nothing that i want to achieve
EDIT: this doesnt really have to do with making music, but kind of does have to do: The MLR community is one of the best things ever about it =)
And probably no one will read such a WALL OF TEXT xDTriangle Brony wrote:I just always wanted to make something with artistic value.
And music is the only art that I can do.
Unless games are art too. Because if they are then music can go to hell.
but they are!
they are a complex combination of soundtracks, artistic 3d models + whatever awesome creativity the creator may have to make them enjoyable just as any art.
Even if it is only the last one, it is still greater creativity for others to enjoy, i would say they are art and a sport (depending on the game of course)
