i accompany myself on ukulele and occasionally guitar. i guess my music delves a bit into jazz/folk? i really don't know.

i don't have a lot of fancy recording gear, just this nifty logitech usb microphone i bought a while ago (whose neck i managed to break so now i prop it up with a plastic drinking cup) and much of my music is recorded in audacity, with minimal editing, all in a single take.

my favorite pony is either applejack or apple bloom.

pleased to meet all of you lovely folk!

Good afternoon. How's it going? I'm Flutterguy, or you can call me Dave. Was just lurking around, found this place and decided to join, as I love music, am a brony, and would love to start making remixes or original tracks based on ponies. I have some background in music, and some advanced knowledge of music. Unfortunately I have had a block for a very long time. Can't create any cool melodies, and nothing sounds good to my ear, so... I dunno. I'll probably never create anything, but I'll certainly have fun listening to everyone else's work. Nice to meet you all.

Salutations.

I'm Cloud. I'm lactose intolerant and I am terrified of spiders. I'm also terrified of palmetto bugs. Those things are just plain fowl.

I enjoy midnight snacks and the occasional stroll across the street where my mailbox lies. Maybe one day I'll get something other than bills.

There's also something about music here, but I don't quite remember. I'm sure I will soon.

Hi, I'm cybermusic and it is great to be part of this community (even though I just arrived)! I recently started composing but I do have much musical experience. I have been playing piano since the beginning of time and been part of the school bands for ages (currently in high school) and well known by my peers. Because of this, I prefer to write orchestral music. I'm learning computer programming from a friend (starting from cmd) but he doesn't "show up" much when I try to contact him.

I play Team Fortress 2 (Medic and engineer) and Minecraft.

I feel that the brony community is one of the best on the Internet due to morals and much talent, something that the current world needs at this point and it makes me proud to be part of such a community.

In the state of introducing myself, I am very nervous... I am trembling and I think sweating as I am typing this and this is the first time I ever took some part in the brony community. Once I fit in more, there is a possibility of me getting more active.

Thanks, everyone!

Hi I'm Jayce,

I have no musical talent outside of creating Simfiles for Stepmania / In the Groove, I'm mostly here to raise awareness of my MLP Remix Archive, but I would like to stick around and actually ATTEMPT to compose music.

I can't say MLP is my overall passion but I have a deep fondness for the show and the quality of remixes produced by the community so that is going to be enough to keep me around I reckon.
I might lurk the creativity boards in hopes of picking up a few tricks before actually attempting to do anything though.

I suppose I'll do a proper introduction... After the song I'm listening to is over ;)

Alright, now that that's over...

I'm Cloud. I love music. Honestly, it's all I do. It's the only thing I can say keeps me productive. Nothing else going for me besides music. Although writing is nice, it's not my passion. My passion is guitar playing. I practice guitar as if it was a workout regimen. Why? Let me explain.

I have only been introduced to electronic music earlier this year (thanks to Eurobeat Brony). I'm not saying anything has changed in my music tastes besides the inclusion of electronic, but I am a huge metal fan. Die hard. Long hair and everything  I love it and that's where my true passion lies. I'm going to school right now for an A.S in Performance/Audio Production. I hope the audio production will help with my electronic music. I'm also in a metal band who plays covers of video game music (and working on a pony EP). I hope to teach private guitar lessons and work in a music shop when the time to work out my life comes. That's the goal... but the real goal is to tour the world in a band... dream big... I always have my head in the clouds.

So you're probably thinking: "Oh, what is this poser doing imposing on our music? He should stick to metal and butt-out of what we are doing". Honestly, that may be true. Who knows? I know that I am doing this for a few reasons. The first being as a musician, I need a different outlet. I can't do any of this stuff (at least execution wise) in metal songs at all (in the writing, I use a lot of similar harmonic and modal ideas (see the last song I did)). The second reason being I really love the show, and I want to contribute somehow to it. Even if only a few people listen to the music, I'll know something came out of it. Third reason being since I'm not really rooted in electronic music, I can come up with stuff that's real out their and unique. I never really worry about having similar styles to others (I hope that's not a bad thing). Fourth reason being, it's fun ;)

I'm really musically rooted. I think more in terms of music theory than I do songwriting. I don't think like a songwriter at all. I suppose I got real pretentious when I was back in middle school when I was first learning music theory and thought it would be the most important thing. Boy was I wrong

Uh, I didn't proofread this and it's like 5 in the morning here... Any who... I hope you enjoy what you hear!

Imposing... IMPOSING?!?!? Nah man you're more than welcome here! :D Even though a lot of electronic music does come out of here I know that there are a few metal head bronies floating around here.

So again, welcome to MLR can't wait to hear your stuff! :)

Thanks. I would just hate for someone who is super good/talented/serious about the genre to be here and along comes someone who is just having fun with it and is making stuff that doesn't sound usual to the genre or such. I know some people would be annoyed by that.

But if not, I'm more than glad to stick around, and hopefully for a while too. As long as the ideas flow...

Thanks!

Hi, I'm Adam. I go by AdamTh3Walker [or AdamTheWalker] almost exclusively, and while I sometimes release things under the name Page Fortysix, those things are not pony.

Let's see, about me? I'm 24 and I have been at this music thing for most of my life, starting piano lessons when I was three years old (if I'm good at anything at all, that's why). I started dabbling in computer music when I was eight messing around with Finale and a MIDI keyboard, and came back to it only eight years ago in high school. Then, I stopped. If not for ponies I wouldn't be doing any music now. As it is, this show and community have inspired me to write and record more than I ever have.

I live in the woods and walk a ton :)

Aside from Toastbeard, I've kind of been lurking for the last couple months, so, my apologies for not having posted here sooner!

'Sup guys. Name's Admiral Yoshi, but you can call me Yoshi. I'm a twenty year-old software engineering major from Illinois.

I'm just getting into the MLP music scene now; I have a song that will hopefully be released in the next week and a half. My music will be mostly rock and such, but I've got other genres I'm working on as well. My first couple will be covers, but hey, as long as they work!

I work with Ableton Live for my music. I'm also an accomplished pianist and will be using piano in my songs when possible, and possibly other instruments if I can get my hands on them.

Other than that, I'm a music writer for the Canterlot Chronicle (new MLP news site), I'm somewhat known for my Space Jam mashups, and I'm a pretty darn good arcade gamer (world record holder on Avalanche, somewhat well known in the community). I don't really care what people think of me in real life and will often go out of my way to be a complete idiot.

If you're interested in collaborating or whatever, send me a message. I like working with others on stuff and I usually have SOMETHING decent I can bring to the table. So, uh, I guess remember that. Or not.

I'll leave you with this remix I did a couple months ago. (Yes, I did this before Psycosis!)

University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Cheapest place in the Midwest with an ABET-accredited SE program. It was either that, Milwaukee School of Engineering, or Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I preferred to spend under $30K/year on my education.

There's many people here willing to collaborate, me being one of them, however college is hiring me at the moment for something known as 'Education' for one more week, so I'm out until then.

Anyways, if you wan't to collab with anyone here, just say so in either a PM or Sharing is Magic, most of the time they say yes.
