I suppose I'll do a proper introduction... After the song I'm listening to is over
Alright, now that that's over...
I'm Cloud. I love music. Honestly, it's all I do. It's the only thing I can say keeps me productive. Nothing else going for me besides music. Although writing is nice, it's not my
passion. My passion is guitar playing. I practice guitar as if it was a workout regimen. Why? Let me explain.
I have only been introduced to electronic music earlier this year (thanks to Eurobeat Brony). I'm not saying anything has changed in my music tastes besides the inclusion of electronic, but I am a huge metal fan. Die hard. Long hair and everything

I love it and that's where my true passion lies. I'm going to school right now for an A.S in Performance/Audio Production. I hope the audio production will help with my electronic music. I'm also in a metal band who plays covers of video game music (and working on a pony EP). I hope to teach private guitar lessons and work in a music shop when the time to work out my life comes. That's the goal...
but the real goal is to tour the world in a band... dream big... I always have my head in the clouds. So you're probably thinking: "Oh, what is this poser doing imposing on our music? He should stick to metal and butt-out of what we are doing". Honestly, that may be true. Who knows? I know that I am doing this for a few reasons. The first being as a musician, I need a different outlet. I can't do any of this stuff (at least execution wise) in metal songs
at all (in the writing, I use a lot of similar harmonic and modal ideas (see the last song I did)). The second reason being I really love the show, and I want to contribute somehow to it. Even if only a few people listen to the music, I'll know something came out of it. Third reason being since I'm not really rooted in electronic music, I can come up with stuff that's real out their and unique. I never really worry about having similar styles to others (I hope that's not a bad thing). Fourth reason being, it's fun
I'm really musically rooted. I think more in terms of music theory than I do songwriting. I don't think like a songwriter at all. I suppose I got real pretentious when I was back in middle school when I was first learning music theory and thought it would be the most important thing. Boy was I wrong
Uh, I didn't proofread this and it's like 5 in the morning here... Any who... I hope you enjoy what you hear!
