Where would you be right now if you didn't do FiM/music?

Before ponies I had vowed to never draw or compose music again because I felt so, well, insecure about my shit and I thought my music was pretty awful (that would be why those old songs are only maybe a minute or so). Thanks to ponies, I make long, pretty musics. If it weren't for ponies and its music, I wouldn't have made social connections with my engineering classmates, so I'd be a loner. I wouldn't have made all of you awesome friends.

Inside I'd actually, really, honestly be kinda dead. Or at least really really dull, if you want a less dramatic answer.

Without ponies, I wouldn't be doing as much music as I was now. It was the Winter Wrap-Up singalong that inspired me to start recording stuff in the first place, and that's pretty much exploded as far as I'm concerned.

Though on the other hand, I'd probably remember how to draw and have started a[n unsuccessful] webcomic at this point. I've honestly forgotten how to doodle since I started ponies.

Before ponies, AND music, I was lurking /b/ everyday, laughing at all the dead people images, and trolling absolutely everyone, and everything else a /b/tard did. So if I didn't do ponies, or music, I'd pretty much be a hateful, perverted waste of air.

Before ponies I used to wonder what friendship could be I really didn't have much of anything in my life. I was just planning on getting through school and then...iunno. something.

Ponies didn't really change that but it has given me something to work for "in the moment". I doubt any of us will be here in 10 years time but at least for now it's given me something to do. Something to be a part of and to treasure.

without music: i think without music i'd probably wouldn't be as vibrant as am. i'm pretty much brimming with energy/inspiration most of the time, and not having music as a creative outlet would really suck. it'd just eat at me. i'd be so ridiculously antsy. music also gives me a bit of confidence, too, i guess. it's one of the few things i'm slightly better than okay at, so it does give me a bit of a confidence boost.

without ponies: i would probably still be a super judgemental ball of hate. years of treading the sewers of the internet at a young age kinda conditioned me to be that way, i guess? ponies legit taught me how to love and tolerate. especially tolerate. it's ridiculous how many awesome people i pushed away from me because some petty aspect of their personality bugged me so much that i'd completely cut them out of my lives. after ponies i learned to tolerate what shortcomings they had and finally got to know them. as such, i made a whole bunch of new friends!

On a serious note, today I'd probably still be doing music. I got into music before I became a brony, so it'd be the same there.

I'd also pretty much be the same person without ponies as well. I was a very nice and good person before, and I'm a nice and good person now, which is not something many can say after being a frequenter of the bowels of the internet (deeper than 4chan, let me tell you). Being Buddhist does that to you.

However, I must say that without ponies my music would be much worse in quality nowadays. If it weren't for ponies, I would never have found MLR, and you guys have helped me so much with improving the quality of my music.

Without Music: I've been doing music since I was 10, so I REALLY don't know what I'd be doing. Probably get more into writing. But then again, it was ponies that inspired me to write fanfics. So yeah, I'd probably just write regular person stories and become a hack writer.

If I hadn't discovered FiM, it's very unlikely I would have ever got into electronic music, either as a listener or as a producer. Maybe I'd spend more time listening to Rush instead of random (but awesome) brony artists... Well, I suppose it's all music at the end of the day.

But yeah, I'd probably still be involved in music in some way since I still have a group of friends I hang out and jam with. Other than that, I would just be working and playing video games and not pursuing anything productive. MLP and the community inspired me to try and make music on my own (which I had wanted to try out for some time). It's also inspired to look into voice over/voice acting again (another thing I've wanted to try out for some time).
