This is pretty much the first piece of music I've ever written (or at least the first minute of the the currently unfinished first piece). I was sort of going for a song about Pinkie's transformation into Pinkamina. Hoping to go more dubstep-y from here.
I like it so far! It seems a little quiet though, but I'm guessing it gets louder after this build.

I already posted this somewhere else, but I haven't gotten ANY feedback on it. It's a WIP that I think is written for Luna. Feedback is moar than appreciated.

And uh... Well, I would kind of like a bit of feed-back... Please....
ViRiDiA wrote:I like your lead synth, but you could EQ the kicks a bit and make them deeper. Not a lot of bass from that track.

And I know im really late for the derpy bandwagon, but still...

I tried taking your advice along with advice I've gotten from others. I've extended the song, added moar elements, added moar bass, and possibly done something to the drums. I'm not good with drums.
EmpUbermensch wrote:Mmmm it's better, but not quite there yet. I'll let you in on a little advice I got here: when EQ'ing, try cutting down frequencies you don't want as opposed to boosting the ones you do. For instance, if I want a nice, deep kick, I'd cut down anything above, say, 300 Hz (for round numbers). Only boost the frequencies you want if you can't quite get the sound you're looking for from cutting.

Oh. Wait. That came out like I was actually proposing. I was talking about After Effects. Sexiest application on the planet. Girls have cooties.
