Hello, sort of a newfilly here
This is pretty much the first piece of music I've ever written (or at least the first minute of the the currently unfinished first piece). I was sort of going for a song about Pinkie's transformation into Pinkamina. Hoping to go more dubstep-y from here.

I like it so far! It seems a little quiet though, but I'm guessing it gets louder after this build.

I already posted this somewhere else, but I haven't gotten ANY feedback on it. It's a WIP that I think is written for Luna. Feedback is moar than appreciated.

Your rhythm is better than mine in the genre.
I not too familiar with that genre, but the white noise sweep was kinda loud, I don't know what to say about the lead synth, but personally I wouldn't have used the "phased" synth. Again, I'm not familiar with Moombahton, but the white noise definitely needs to go down.

I like your lead synth, but you could EQ the kicks a bit and make them deeper. Not a lot of bass from that track.

Mmmm it's better, but not quite there yet. I'll let you in on a little advice I got here: when EQ'ing, try cutting down frequencies you don't want as opposed to boosting the ones you do. For instance, if I want a nice, deep kick, I'd cut down anything above, say, 300 Hz (for round numbers). Only boost the frequencies you want if you can't quite get the sound you're looking for from cutting.

Hey now, don't be pessimistic! Just keep coming back to that music your making and just keep working on it! Never be afraid to make mistakes, because without mistakes you'll never know what you need to do to improve whatever you're doing
