This is pretty much the first piece of music I've ever written (or at least the first minute of the the currently unfinished first piece). I was sort of going for a song about Pinkie's transformation into Pinkamina. Hoping to go more dubstep-y from here.

I like it so far! It seems a little quiet though, but I'm guessing it gets louder after this build.

Daw, thank you very much ^_^
I noticed it was quiet, it only came out like that after I uploaded it to soundcloud... strange

I already posted this somewhere else, but I haven't gotten ANY feedback on it. It's a WIP that I think is written for Luna. Feedback is moar than appreciated.

Your rhythm is better than mine in the genre.
I not too familiar with that genre, but the white noise sweep was kinda loud, I don't know what to say about the lead synth, but personally I wouldn't have used the "phased" synth. Again, I'm not familiar with Moombahton, but the white noise definitely needs to go down.

Here is my WIP and first, sorta complete composition. I'm stuck in the rhythm section. I need to work on my chord progressions:

I tried taking your advice along with advice I've gotten from others. I've extended the song, added moar elements, added moar bass, and possibly done something to the drums. I'm not good with drums.

Mmmm it's better, but not quite there yet. I'll let you in on a little advice I got here: when EQ'ing, try cutting down frequencies you don't want as opposed to boosting the ones you do. For instance, if I want a nice, deep kick, I'd cut down anything above, say, 300 Hz (for round numbers). Only boost the frequencies you want if you can't quite get the sound you're looking for from cutting.

Alrighty then. Thanks. Yeah, I'm new to the whole "EQing the drums" thing. This is my first time I've ever EQed the drums, so I'm still trying to figure it out. Thanks again for the tips.

Currently working on a chiptune cover of JackleApp's "Autumn" from his Griffin Village set.

http://soundcloud.com/planetary-confinement/griffinbit-village-autumn

I'll probably be done it by tomorrow night(It's 2:44am at the moment. lol) I've still got to add in the vocal notes and the second half, but it shouldn't be too hard, since the hardest part was the mid section.

I don't remember if I posted anything here already, but I'm working on something (idk) that I currently have name "Night Raid" on my Soundcloud (which is as empty as my fridge right now).

The WIP is only 1:00.

The finished work might be 4:00.

The quality is bound to be low.

I hate my life.

Hey now, don't be pessimistic! Just keep coming back to that music your making and just keep working on it! Never be afraid to make mistakes, because without mistakes you'll never know what you need to do to improve whatever you're doing :)

As for me, I'm currently working on this again.

Working on an acoustic rendition of SoGreatAndPowerful's "On My Own." If anyone has chords or lyrics, that would be awesome to see.

And I've decided to get in on BalloonParty.

Planning a Makkon rock medley. I don't have anything to show for it, but I've been learning a bunch of his songs on guitar.

Wow, legion, that sounds amazing. I understand that you already proposed by now, but good luck!

Here's what I'm working on solo right now. Nothing pony...yet...I don't even know what to call it. I just felt like making something and this is what came out. Still WIP, obviously.
