Alright, so; lately I've been having this issue with... crackling, while sound was playing. Any sound. Hell, even the Window's sound (like when it goes "BIIING; THERE'S ALREADY A FILE WITH THIS NAME. OVERWRITE?") has static, and I did think it was my headphones, but I've gone through these;
(Had to tinyurl, sorry; it's just office depot); http://tinyurl.com/7kead5n
(Can't find the box, so no link) some, like, $40 earbuds that were really awesome
And these; (More tinyurl; this time for Bose) http://tinyurl.com/86o5v9d
Now; either I've blown all of these out in the span of about a month, OR, something is terribly amiss with my computer. And none of these fuzz when I plug them into my iPod, so what the fuck is going on?
I can't work on music, I can barely listen to the softest of sounds, and even Skype booping at me is mindbogglingly painful due to the sheer amount of distortion on the sound. (Hence I have almost all the sounds off)
I'm not so sure I haven't managed to murder my built-in soundcard...
However; I'm also not really sure what exactly is going on at all, anyway. One minute, It's just crackling in rhythm, the next I've paused it or yanked out my earbuds and it sounds just fine. I can pause the sound and count to 3 Mississippi and it'll correct itself for a little while; about 30 seconds before the static comes back and starts to build up.
This is not only annoying; but it's getting to the point that it's actually painful.
Any of you have any imput?
