Incidentally, I thought it was a very underwhelming album and a lot of the songs sounded the same.

I hadn't heard of it before-hand so I had no expectations. I actually really like it but I agree quite a lot of the songs sounded very similar.

So my book report on the mlp book Past Sins is pretty cool at school. I still have not had to mention the words pony, unicorn, Pegasus, alicorn, or anything pony related in that sort. But I have said the names if all the characters so anyone would be able to tell its mlp without me directly saying it. Anyway, when I have to present and talk about my book in front of the class, I'm gonna wear my derpy shirt. Because why not?
I hate it when bronies in public make themselves look so dumb and get into arguments with people about why they should watch mlp. Like, shut up. Nobody wants to watch it, respect their choice. Don't force someone into it. But you can defend yourself.

My rule of thumb is to not mention it to people unless the people are my closer friends. Because nobody wants to hear it. Anyway, idk where I was going with any of this. Probably ranting a little to start an actual discussion here

It's not useful when you're in 5 group chats that get 1000 messages daily. Instant lag, lag, and lag. It takes me ages to load all messages I've sent and received since last time I logged on on my iPhone.

I picked Recess up today actually. The only track on it I didn't like was Dirty Vibe, but it might grow on me later. But it's really neat to see Skrillex do more tracks along the lines of Leaving. Fire Away, Ease My Mind and Doompy Poomp are my favorites from it. Especially Fire Away, that one's pretty sweet.

But yeah I can definitely agree that some of them sound similar. But that happens in a LOT of albums. Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy, a few songs from Takk by Sigur Ros sound pretty alike, and so on. It's not really a bad thing if an album has similar sounding songs imo.

I really like the beat on "Fire Away" even though it's simular to "Leaving". Dirty Vibe was okay, but it could have been better. The only problem: those 808s made my ears ache. The self-titled "Recess" included a great collaboration of Kill The Noise and Fatman Scoop with Skrillex's known clubstep style. In other words: the album was very good, up to date and 100% no BS.
