A work in progress remix of The Ocular Invisible and NegaNote's Stay Strong, for that remix thing they're doing over in the Challenges forum. Personally, I think I'm doing rather well, but I'm always open for constructive criticism and critique :3

I think for a WIP, it's doing pretty well, I will be honest and say that it took long to build up and I was losing patience, but when 1:16 hit, I was like "Whoa shit, where did that come from?", I didn't expect that, that's for sure, and from that point onwards I enjoyed the whole piece.

That's all I can say, since I don't really know many other elements of true house music.

Intro is too long apparently. I don't know how deadmau5 gets away with these things...

So was the sudden jump into house good or bad?

I thought it was good, it took a while, but the second 1:16 jumped in, I was sucked right into the song. I would say that you should keep that sudden jump into house, it's not normally used (to my knowledge), but it'd be interesting to see how you can make it work.

Maybe I'll shave off 8 bars or so from the intro. I'm going to add some downlifters and uplifters and whatnot to the intro; we'll see how that goes.

Well I put it on soundcloud (stupid me put the wrong version up but whatever)
Nothing changed but maybe people will be more inclined to check it out now that they don't have to download it. Or maybe not. *shrugs*

But my current version is 8 bars shorter (cut from the intro) and now features a few downlifters as well as a very soft chiptune arp used a few times during the 'drops'
