If you haven't seen the season finale yet, don't watch it

If you haven't seen the season finale yet, don't watch it

Please. It just takes away all your inspiration.
Don't let your love of the show die by watching one episode.

God i'm so depressed.

Didn't have the same effect on me, but the episode was one of the worst in terms of pacing. Also the first time I've seen awkward animation from the team as well.

I thought it was beautiful! Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean that everybody is going to hate it.

I thought it was great, rushed as all fuck, but that's what happens when you've only got 22 minutes. Apparently it'll pick up right from there in S4 (rumors).

But Celestia's song. Oh my god that song was just perfect. The instrumental was brilliance and the rest of the songs were top notch too :D

Good songs? They were all so generic, typical MLP style songs imho. I didn't like it other than the memory scene, Celestia's Ballad in that scene, and the ending.

Season 3 sucked for the most part. This episode wasn't that great. I was actually hoping for Twilicorn, all up for it, but it all seemed so rushed, so compacted.

Really disappointed.

They had a lot of great stories this season. It's a pity that Hasbro tried to make them fit it into only 13 episodes.

The second half of I've Got To Find A Way was bleh, I liked the rest of them though.

In terms of comparing S3 to the other 2 seasons (And yes, I understand it's hard because they were cramped in 13 episodes rather than a full on 26), I think season 3 has been the worst thus far. Only a few episodes really stuck out to me this season.

I'll still hold to my word I will watch the show until the bitter end regardless of where it goes.

Season 1 is still the best.

I thought the episode was great! It would have been nice to have two episodes like the ssn2 finale, but with the regular season episodes getting cut short, a shorter finale is no surprise. Even with the shorter time, it was awesome. I couldnt stop myself from shouting, and I knocked my chair over more than once.

Overall, I thought season 3 had some very nice high points, along with a few slower episodes. The only thing that really got to me was bringing Discord back and making him "good". It annoys me when TV shows have all the bad guys eventually repent their evil-ness and join the good guys. Let him stay evil.

Hey mods, do you guys think you should lock the thread? This just seems like unnecessary drama.

On another note, who are you to tell people that they shouldn't do something just because of your opinion? That's the problem with the internet today, there are too many people who think that just because they're part of a big group of people, they can say something and automatically everybody else in the group will agree with them. Of course, you've already said that you were just overreacting, so I guess we can forgive you. Or, I will at least. Also, does this mean that you're "leaving the fandom" with the rest of the people who were rattled when they heard that Twilight was getting wings *insert trollface here*? But no, I don't see why you thought the episode was so bad, or even why people thought Twilight getting wings was so bad. Explain this part to me.

If I have the opinion, so do others. If ten percent of the fandom has the reaction I had (which was to leave), then watching the episode will ruin 1 tenth of the community's inspiration and dedication for this show. I just don't want that to happen to other people like it did to me. And I'm not the only one who lost their drive.

Well then I feel bad for you, il2bat. But posting "It's so hurrible" will make people more curious than anything, and they'll go and watch the episode. My advice, just let people form their own opinions. If you want to leave the fandom because you didn't like one episode, then good bye. We don't want to hear you bitch and moan about it, you can simply leave and we'll get over you quickly. No doubt that your opinion is worth something, but making a whole big deal out of it like this is just attention seeking. What do you want from us? Is there something that you want us to compensate for you because you didn't like the finale?

Like I said, mods, lock this thread up before it grows out of hand.

edit: Oh, and change the title too. I mean, if that's ok with you guys...

Yes you have the right to your opinion, and yes you may share that with others, but your opinion is not somehow greater than everybody else just because you may not feel the same as the majority.

There's already 3 topics covering the season finale:
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5894
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7028
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6872

Post your opinion there, and let other people choose for themselves if they want to watch it.
