Should I worry that there's a LastFM profile I didn't make?

Not sure what to make of this. Looks like that's my music for sale? What should I do? I just want some insight before I can safely have any sort of reaction to this. Any advice you might have to offer would be appreciated.

I'm not too familiar with last.fm, but was the music put up there without your consent?

If somebody's making an easy buck off your hard work, I'd advise either appealing to the website to have it removed, or work out a deal with them.

I guess you could see it as flattering in a way though...a bad way, but still a way nonetheless.

You're going to find this situation happening a lot more as you get more known. I'd get used to telling people to gtfo with trying to sell your stuff/pass it off as their own.

I thought LastFM was about finding music similar to your tastes...so it lists things that are similar to something else that you listened to...that's how new artists get noticed there...

And looking at this, you should be fine, it's just a profile automatically given because you have a lot of people listening! If you check the buy thing, it offers to search on iTunes or some other site for you and it comes up with zilch...
This is just so people know who they're listening to, so I wouldn't worry, but if you want it taken down, feel fre to ask the admins!

They're making money with your FREE music, therefore scamming your listeners. If you don't care about them making money with your stuff, at least do something for the people who want to listen to your stuff. Paying for something you can get for free is uncool.

I don't think that's how LastFM works...

I think what it does is it monitors what you listen to (not you, but whoever has an actual account) on, say, iTunes and then compiles it into a list and finds other examples of a similar nature. This way, you find new music without even looking! I believe the radio only works if your music is actually on LastFM...which if you're an artist on their without making an account, it means your music isn't up there, just its namesake.
The best it can show you is how many people with LastFM have listened to your stuff!

They aren't making money off your music. Those artist pages are generated automatically whenever anyone listens to your song. That's where they get the track/album names from. If you want, you can claim your artist page by filling out some details, and then you get get some revenue. It's not very much.
