Ian Clarke - "The Great Train Race" (dunno, sometime between 2000-2010)
Ian Clarke - "Zoom Tube" (dunno, sometime between 2000-2010)
If anyone finds out the dates of these, I'd be appreciative...

The weird pedal line I'm guessing means varying degrees of pressure (or lack of) on the pedal...
Translating the french as "Reduce the Resonance" this makes sense as decreasing pressure on the pedal as the line ascends and increasing pressure as it descends! So letting the resonance of the open strings die out using the pedal!
PiercingSight wrote:Now about ALL modern classic. Ever listen to John Powell? Probably already have (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Powell)... here's some of his stuff. I think he deserves almost as much praise as John Williams.
Anyway, the best music written is music written with a purpose (this usually ends up being STs for movies, especially the good ones). I completely agree the modern classical is the best MODERN genre, but I have yet to hear an artist as inspired and as brilliant as artist such as Mozart, Stravinsky, and Debussy (He's mah fav composer) in modern times. You truly can't beat the classics.

Whilst it's important to give music meaning to yourself, it's also important to not go in to music expecting a specific genre, as you'll label it as that, regardless of what it sounds like...
Take a listen to the very first video I posted on this thread (the Sinuous Words one)...
Now, I listen to that and just enjoy the sounds going around me, I don't give it a 'horror' label, or a 'murky swamp' label...I just enjoy it AS music, not as an accompaniment to something else.
Give it a try! Although, now that I've said that, that's what you'll be thinking of!
P.S. Why does firefox keep reroutng me to my youtube page when I enter this thread? BUH!!!
EDIT: HOWL! It's because of that failed youtube link, it keeps sending me to youtube for some reason, any chance on fixing it? Cheers!
