The biggest irony about you as a person.

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

Given that Aikido isn't even about throwing punches that makes sense?

I have quite a bit going for me and I'm too paralyzed by completely unfounded fears and overblown neuroses to make anything of myself. I even know that about myself and yet I can't typically overcome it.

I do everything right-handed except play guitar.

I consider myself a hardcore gamer yet still to this day have not played some of the most popular games ever (i.e. most installments of the Crash Bandicoot series, Super Mario Land, didn't play Zelda OOT, MM, or WW until a couple years ago)

Metal is my favorite music but metalheads are my least favorite people.

I was raised in a family of hillbillies but did not become one.

I have low expectations on my work so people wouldn't expect much out of me. My IQ is 160something. Many people find it a shock when I do the one thing I do best and far better than what is expected, also known as programming. Example: teacher gives assignment that seems difficult and takes 30 minutes to explain. I code it in 15. The rest finish the next day, so hour and a half.

I write music in my own genre just because I have no formal training and people wouldn't be able to say "you're making music wrong".

I'm right-handed, but I primarily only hold spoons and writing utensils in my right. My left arm is my stronger one.

I dislike the brony community, so I only use this site about once a month and IRC with #bronymusic.

Food is fun.

I primarily enjoy darker music but almost everything I make is upbeat and happy.

I'm very smart but also a massive procrastinator, which is why I'm in Algebra 1 instead of Geometry. I get the highest grades in the class but I don't study at all.

Oh I got one:
I get all sorts of musical inspiration when i'm unable to do anything about it, like at school or in the car, but as soon as I have loads of free time I usually end up wasting it goofing around on the internet. Which reminds me, i'm going to work on musics tonight.
My goal is to be capable of making any kind of music that strikes my fancy, and do it well.

I've grown to hate the rabid MLP fanbase despite being part of it a year ago, and despite my ongoing infatuation with a certain purple unicorn.

OH also I dislike the club scene but I produce EDM

Even though I'm only 15 and could explain to someone off the top of my head how Advanced BCS Theory work, the intricacies of quantum entanglement, the mechanics of electromagnetic induction, and the step-by-step processes of nuclear decay; I'm only getting C's in my Science class.

And another agreement for the, "Dislike Club Scene, produce EDM"

Way to show me up, Alycs :3

Naw, I'm 15 too and I could easily explain the concepts of antimatter, temporal distortions, most of the strange things in our solar system, and the problems with extremely fast travel (like, light speed levels) and I'm getting similar grades (not as impressive I suppose). I understand quantum entanglement and quantum chromodynamics, I just can't recall them off the top of my head :/

And I hate the rave scene but love the music, just Saiyan

How can you dislike the club scene if you're not old enough to get into clubs?

Oh well, seems silly to say you hate something if you've never tried or experienced it.

Do you hate Nazis?
Yes, of course you do. Have you ever experienced being a Nazi? I hope not.

Your argument is flawed, Sam.

Thats just an awful analogy and not relevant to this topic's argument at all. Do i have to try to be a bigot to hate a bigot? No. Think harder.

If someone who dislikes something because they are ignorant about something because they've never encountered it, it's easy to "hate it" (other races, gays, trans, bronies, muslims have ample haters) but that's not an informed decision. It's hate from a fear and from a lack of knowledge and experience. All I'm saying is if you've never set foot in a club, you don't hate them, you just haven't experienced them. Even if you don't like the first one you go to you can try a few more before you make a decision. You'll get a chance to find this out for youself in a few years. Again I'm not trying to start yet another argument with you just stating the obvious.

He wasn't even saying he hates clubs, he said he hates the club scene, like the typical clubgoing douchenozzles and sluts and all that. I think.

We do argue too much, i do dislike that. I'm certainly not going into threads with that intention of arguing with you but they often seem to turn out that way. We are just 2 very different people. :(

Well yeah i agree that there's a lot of stuff about the cliched club scene that's terrible (just read a copy of Mixmag i guess to say "I'm not one of THESE coked up idiots") but yeah that's why you find a club that fits you (music, people, and all). I don't think i ever truly discovered myself and my relationship with music until i felt at home in a club so i apologize if I'm defending how important that experience is. To me it was probably the single most important part of my life. I see your points though and agree that the way clublife is portrayed is pretty awful.

Anyway this went WAY off topic so here's some of my ironic admissions. A club is a terrible place to meet a girl or find a relationship and yet i met my wife there, it was love at first sight, and we've been married over a decade. I was struggling with whether i wanted to have children and when i said it was ok that we have one then my wife had twins. I love the brony community even though it feels like because i'm older and have little in common with my fellow bronies that i simultaneously feel constantly out of place within it. Life is full of contradictions i guess.
