Personally, I took this and ran with it, and instead I find the arctic wavetable to be a good replacement for Modern Talking with the wavetable slightly higher if you're into something with a cleaner mid-range and some more sin-like subbass.

On the other end of the spectrum, link up the arctic wavetable with Bypass and feed it about 20-25%
Gives it a little more backbone.

Omni uses a lot of dimension expander on his bass sounds, which is a very bad practice. If you want to add width, use the Pan position in the Voicing tab in Massive. Or apply external chorus to a very subtle degree.

no offense, but while this is true for almost all occasions, you have to make exceptions for synths that require only one voice (or an odd number of voices, as that will set the panned synth off-balance)

It's intuitive to use the pan function in massive, but it isn't necessarily a given.
XD i personally think that the dimensional expander is shit, but I use it if I find it good for the situation, and only in a small amount.

For single voice synths, such as a simple saw lead, the pan position will work, but very mild parallel processing works better, usng split reverb or split chorus, turned down only to utilize stereo seperation of the sound. Dimexp is a good sound design tool for special cases, I've played with it some since posting, but it is by no means a good way to give your sound width, more gives it weight, hence expander. You can achieve pretty much the exact same effect with a digital reverb such as Ambience, setting the room size large but the reverb time and diffusion so it decays unrealistically quickly. You also get control over hi-pass low-pass and pre-delay, instead of the dim exp 4 basic knobs

It wasn't really all that noticeable in the lower notes but it sounded better I think in the higher ones

It sounds a little weird because I made the preset with "Sprectrum" instead of "Bend +/-" on Osc 1 & 2, I changed them at the end :P

Name a Skrillex song that isn't popular, that's the first problem. Secondly: No. xD Omni might have a lot of issues to work on, and they're similar, because they're both dubstep, but replica? Nah.
