You are my new favorite person.

I have an eventful life.

Oh yeah. I forgot walking.
Really just... wandering around. Exploring.
Trying to find new places in my town that I haven't found before.

In the same line, I love reading, but most of the stuff I end up reading (while I still enjoy it) is for my ancient literature and philosophy class.
I also love science (I'm going to major in Physics), and have participated in my local science fair (and competed at the Intel International Science Fair last year), but now I'm working with a local college to build a superconducting- antigravity engine. So really my "work" and "hobby" overlap a ton.

Alycs wrote:Sweet! Are you using the traditional Fleischmann–Pons fusion or are you doing Muon catalyst reactions (though thats not exactly fusion)? (And how is that working out? I had heard that the government nearly stopped funding cold fusion reasearch after 2004.)
Freewave wrote:being too critical can make you too critical
Alycs wrote:So... both? I remember reading that NASA and CERN had teamed up a few years ago to try and attempt Muon Catalyst fusion, but in the end discovered the original "Cold-Fusion Heat" that had been observed in F-P experiments was actually a variant of nuclear decay. It would be really awesome if someone did something with that, because it seemed like they kinda dropped the ball with that one.
And actually, my anti-grav "engine" is technically a generator. Its using Quantum locked Abriksnov vortexes to levitate neodynamic magnets above a track, which then rotates to induce voltage into a secondary coil. Basically, you wind up the device, and it generates power like the energizer bunny- on and on and on...
That is, it will once its built; right now I'm trying to find someplace that will let me borrow a band saw. : P

Placing my tongue on the GR meter to taste the gain reduction I some how improved my skills.

Flatflish wrote:Look for storm drain exits, there's sure to be some, if they're barred off you can always get in through manholes. Just make sure you enter storm drains not sewers. Methane and other nasty stuff builds up in sewers, and unless you have a respirator u gunna die. Also check your local trespassing laws.
