Yes, definitely.
Personally I wouldn't submit early; there's a lot of time until the deadline.

Just kinda realized I've never posted in here, oops

Name's frog, though I go by a number of different names on the internet. Started watching MLP in mid-2011 and got into music production at around the same time due to the fan content being produced. I'm not really into the show as much as I used to be but I think I've picked up a lifelong hobby with music production.

Genres of choice are house, drum and bass, electro, orchestral, and rock. I feel I've gotten pretty good at sound design, but I've never actually finished a song so I don't have much experience mixing or composing. Hopefully hanging around here will actually motivate me to get somewhere.

Hi, I'm Alex, I usually go by Alycs or gorgiasMuseo online. I have been actively making music for about a year now, but have been playing piano for nearly 7 years. I first heard about MLP about a month before the premier of season 2, and started watching it a few weeks later. I also am a fan of Doctor Who, Firefly, Homestuck, and various other TV shows, comics, and books.

While I study classical piano and do compose quite a lot of music in that genre, most of the music I upload to soundcloud is made in LMMS and edited in Audacity, and falls into the electrical, ambient, or house genre's.

Hi!
My name is Jordan. Online however, I go by 2 names: "Cpl. Bradley" and "Thermite."
The name Cpl. Bradley is the name I use for all my pony related and for-fun music, while Thermite is the name I use for my professional works, and it's also my DJ name.

I'm 17 years old, and live in a small town in Minnesota. I'm a junior in high school.
I love making music of all types. Granted, I mostly release electronic music, but I really do make almost everything, whether I release it or not.

I've been making music since 6th grade, when my dad put a computer in our basement to use as a recording studio (Nearly 6 years ago). I started with Pro Tools, but was never able to fully figure out how to use it (I do now of course, just not back then.) My older brother introduced me to FL Studio about a year later, and I became hooked. I've been using it ever since. I used to make only Hands-up and Trance, but in 2009 I started becoming interested in Dubstep and House, and started producing that.

When I'm not making music, I like to chill with my friends (who also are bronies because of me), go snowboarding in the winter, longboarding in the spring summer and fall. I also love to throw rave parties in my basement (Achievable thanks to the 4400 watt sound system my dad bought for my birthday) in which I DJ for real. None of that kiddy laptop and mouse crap. I have a very strong love for cars, especially fast ones. But not trucks. I hate trucks. I'm also what you would call a "Marijuana Enthusiast and Connoisseur."
*cough cough*
*Ahem*
I also love making movies and 3D animations. I'm skilled with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, 3DS Max, etc. Pretty much all the movie making essentials, I'm skilled with them. I love making movies with my friends. Loads of fun.

I've been a brony since october of 2011

Heyo, Imma WeeGeeTheBrony!

I don't know what else to say lol XD

Wait...NVM

Well I'm 20 years old, wanna make music (MLP kinda just made it click in my head that this is what I wanna do) and rather anti-social (that is till I came across MLP and my other fellow bronies).

I'd like to think I've got a ear for music, so if any of you post anything, I'll let you know how it sounds ^_^

And go easy on my own projects, I'm just starting and learning (self teaching), so any pointers would be nice :D

So, my name is Chris (a.k.a. Reali-tGlitch, pronounced Reality Glitch), and I'm 19 years old, with a lovely, trimmed beard ;) . I have been producing electronic music for about 5 years, and have been a brony for about 1. Back in 2011 I got into dubstep, and that became my primary genre (though I have done many).

I just released my 160th track today, which is also my first Brony song, titled Typical Pony.

I hope that it may be the first of many.

Well now, I found you guys. New to the MLP fandom and have been trying to find a way to communicate with the musicians of this great movment. So here I have arrived late but in good spirits and high hopes of being able to make good conections here to make some great music. Any ways, about my self. I have been playing acoustic drums for over 26 years now. Have played with every kind of live band imagenable. Played in concert bands, orchestra, marching band, played bass drum, snare, and tenors. I now stay seated behind a giant complicated drum set to play, Jazz and jazz combos and inpromtu chart reading. 2-metal bands, then some rock bands. palyed serious through college in a punk band, then I grew up and didn't want to lash out against society anymore. Played in several hippy jam bands, then a funk type rock rap band. after that a fusion type thing and and a blues thing happened. Currently playing full time in a rock-regga-funk band, like Dispatch or State radio. Now currently exploring elctronic music from behind the drum set with addition of a rolland drum pad. I have been sampling rythms and full songs as I accompany on drums, and having a blast. I dont see a lot of people out there doing it or looking for it but i would like to change that. My goal here is to be able to supply anyone with acoustic drums to anytype of music they like. but mostly want to try some electronic fusion projects of blending real instruments with electronic. So hope this message is able to spark a few conversations amongst this community, and eagerly wait to hear back. Thank you for taknig the time to read all this crap. nothing but love for you all.

Postby ChromeDash » 08 Feb 2013 17:29

Heya! Well, I was recommended to give a little introduction of myself here, so yeah... here goes.

Name's Chrome, the suffix afterwards changes literally daily, but everybody just calls me Chromy.
I'm a musician first and a drummer second. I'm in high school and am currently enrolled in AP music theory, having taken two years of study. I play snare drum and hope to go to UNT on a musical path, with the focus on composition and production.

I write on fimfiction, and I hate every second of it (kidding, but it's not like music to me).

I have a heavy blues influence, and try to incorporate in electrical music. I also am well versed with full band settings.

I've been using FL studio for about 5 months now as my main DAW, and have been writing in Sibelius seven for about two years. I'm trying to learn the aspect of production as it works with written music, and that's what I'm here to receive criticism on :3. Other products I use are Melodyne, Kontakt, Massive, Absynth, Audacity, and my hands.

I like to help, but more than anything I just want people to be as brutal to me as possible with feedback. I want all honesty. I will focus more on the music with my feedback, since that's what I know most about.

Well, I think that's it.
Rarity is best pony :D

EDIT: Friendship is magic, after all, and I love making new friends, especially ones that help me and that I can help as well. I don't really stick around with communities that don't care about each other, so feel free to get to know me, and I'll do the same.

Hi. I'm Stephen, but you can call me JayBrown. I've started to get very interested in making music for the brony community, and am hoping to soon figure out just what type of music to do. I'm thinking something with piano, be it Ben Folds-esque or piano jazz with singing; I don't know yet. I've written a fanfic or two, got one of them, A Life Worth Living, up on EquestriaDaily, and am planning on writing more and more in my life, maybe even making a career someday. My DAW of choice is FL Studio, and I don't even have a good piano VST yet. I'd use a real piano, but I kiiiinda don't have one.

Behind the moniker: I'm right on the brink of turning 17, and live in Canada, where, as I type, we are receiving roughly 90 centimeters of snow. I'm interested in a plethora of things, from music, to writing, to acting. I'm an integral member of my school's own creation: Nerd Club. We do shit.

Anyway, went with a nice old-fashioned double wall of text just to say hey. I love the community around here, and I think I'll be around for a while.

Hey everyone, I just started making music about half a year ago but I have been involved with music pretty much my whole life. Started playing sax since 4th grade and since then learned drums and a bit of piano. I fool around with a huge range of music (Orchestra, EDM, trying to find a good sound library for some Jazz) but never really bothered to publish anything since none of it is all that good  . I'll probably publish some stuff soon but until then I'll just listen to all your guy's music. See my sig for best pony

Hello, you may call me DeEquisCogito or whatever shortened version of my name you desire. You can usual find me lurking on fimfiction.net reading world-building and adventure stories. I've been playing music most of my life, and I recently decided to try hoof at composing it.

I never listened to electronic music until I joined the herd, and I have been inspired this new soundscape. So I will probably end up making some sort of electronic music after I get a better handle on Ableton Live and Massive. I desperately need to acquire more instruments.

I am hoping to meet some awesome people and receive honest feedback on my work.

Best pony is crazy Twilight. Best background pony is Cheerilee (I have a thing for educated mares).
