Not much of a scope is there? Any reason for the album?

It's just an album that EKF is hosting.
If an admin can move this thread that'd be great.

Now that I think about it, you guys may have missed the perfect time for creating the EFK channel itself by about a year or 18 months or so  I'll think about participating when I have more skill and am making better music. But you should probably also lengthen the deadline by about a month, as 22 days seems like a fairly short time to produce something really quality, even for some of the people with 4+ years under their belts (unless they're glaze, lol)

I would really like to see this album come to be. I'd rather have this album be completed than my own to be honest. EKF has some serious potential, have you listened to DODGE THIS? I would seriously recommend you to participate if you are an artist and can make quality music. Seriously, do it. EKF is probably going to be the next biggest thing for brony music, I'd hate to see this flop in the slightest. EKF is pretty boss, submit your music, and you'll be pretty boss too.

I'd be surprised if this will get very far, but good luck. My personal opinion is that EFK isn't bound to go very far at all in general, just because people are comfortable with the musicians they know already, and they can find a lot of the music they already like at the artists they know. I guess the reason you guys are where you are now is mostly because you have a big name on your team and a few other small people, and subscribers just figure that "well, whatever, I support this too cuz this guy I'm subscribed too is part of it". But whatever, I can stand bye and shake my head in disappointment and you guys can continue to promote music.

Re: [Album] Brony Culture.

Postby itroitnyah » 28 Feb 2013 15:06

Exactly. What 9V said.

I've always been more of a realistic thinker. When I started music production, I imagined my music soaring into popularity, and of course that's been crushed into oblivion, and I've been extremely realistic ever since. I can't even fantasize without trying to fantasize realistically. But now we're going into a whole bunch of psychological stuff that we probably will never understand unless we decide to take psychology courses in college, lol.

Not to say that what I think won't succeed won't, I've been wrong before, so if EFK succeeds, then congratulations. But I'm still sticking with my original opinion. Mods, you should probably lock this thread before it escalates any further than this. If anybody wants to discuss this with me further, feel free to PM me.

Also, I just got bored randomly and decided to take some statistics. EFK's average video gets ~356 views each. That's just about four tenths of your subscribers who watch their every video. We can conclude that the majority of the subscribers are subscribed simply because one of the musicians they follow is part of the team, there is one big person and a few medium people part of the EFK team, and/or it's simply because you guys have quite a few songs from the really huge people in this fandom (Alex S, HMH, Omnipony, SixofLasers). Just sayin' guys...
