I'd simply call it electro house, but I do see where your 'progression' is coming from. I was actually aiming more towards complextro with this, but I know it ended up a little bit more chill than most tracks of that genre.

On the vocals part

They actually were modified and key-matched. The change is not so prominent in the main part, but especially at the end of the line. It was not easy working with the original, but I still believe they fit rather well.

Snares during the dubstep'y part... yeah, I agree. Not the best work of mine done on those for sure.

At 3:00 (and they start low during the first chorus), that sound you're referring to was a synth merged with a low-velocity rimshot with pushed up pitch. Was experimenting with synths and drums at that point, hopefully came out well.
