Why did you pick the username you have?

When I made my first youtube account I decided to name it after my cat whos name is topit. But on youtube, that was taken, so I chose "topitmonkeydog." Later, that account got hacked, so I changed it to "topitmunkeydog," and that is around the time I started getting serious about my animation. From then on I just used topitmunkeydog on every site I join just because I really like the name. It's different and doesn't have annoying numbers or anything so it's sort of professional because it can be used as a "name" name but it's also quirky and stuff. I don't ever plan on releasing music under the name because I'll likely join up with some other musicians and create a band with an actual name. As for solo work I will probably just use my real name.

Because when I was ten, I liked the idea of nukes. I thought it was crazy that matter held so much energy in it. Also I put in my name, Vladimir.
Then I made a bunch of accounts using this.
And I kinda just ended up using it as everything.
And I realized it would work ok as a musician name too.

Nine Volt came from this old Wario Gamecube game I had. There was a character named 9-Volt and I liked that name so I stole it :3

I've got a bunch of other ideas in case I ever want to change it though. Nuclear Summer is my current favorite of those.

Well, the Sonic Rainboom project name is because it kinda sorta encapsulates the way my music sounds. That and, for all I could tell, it wasn't taken (a fact which still baffles me, considering how late into the game I picked the name).

The jex project name is a contraction of my name, albeit through somewhat obscure channels.

ph00tbag, which is used as my tag on forums and such, comes from this time when a friend of mine thought he had invented a clever insult on aim, and I just started using it as a screen name everywhere.

So my story is i was going under in a talent show (for shits and giggles) and i was going under the name
W .I.P witch means working in progress Because I made a vow when it came to music i would get better

when the talent show was over a young producer, by the name of trez called me to rap with him

when we were collaborating he told me i was really tense on the Mic like i could not relax.

after we were done we watched some Anime i was watching soul eater

i decided because i always liked music that touches my soul, so i said i will call myself just that but i also wanted to imply my name so i went as Benjamin Soul (Yeah looking back it sounds horrible)

but i then was reading some music theory the difference of dissonance vs tension i realized tension rhymes with Benjamin

so i said
