That was enjoyable! I love what you did with the vocals as well!
As for the instrumental, I do feel it was a little repetitive like you said, and it seems like the vocals should come in sooner than they do. Don't be afraid to spice up your little 3 note hook as the song goes on or add a few more effects or melodies to keep the listener interested! I also just feel that there should be extra lyrics or something at 0:28. The last thing I'll touch on is just that it feels like you're missing your lower sounds, mainly in the intro. You could also experiment with turning up some of your basses or kicks. It also sounds like you cut out a bit too much lower frequencies on your piano. Maybe adding more sub bass here and there and seeing how that sounds.

Seriously though, I really like this song! You succeeded in bringing a smile to my face
