There was a giant squid that chased the CMC in that one episode in Season 1.

But no, the kraken was not present.

I thought you meant favorite mythical creature in general :3

Best Mane 6: Twilight (Personality fits me like a glove)
Best God-thing: Discord (Me on a really fun day)
Best Pony: Big Mac (Stoic, deep and revealed recently, pretty smooth)

Close 2nd: Applejack (Like Big Mac, but more outgoing, so it's a nyeh)
Close 3rd: Pinkie Pie (I actually hate her, but the personality can match mine sometimes)

Still, Big Mac for best pony. That's how it goes, ladies.
