NeonStorm's Chill and Experimental Electronica Album

Postby senntenial » 12 Jan 2013 23:16

Many of you may recall the name "NeonStorm" (Chris) - perhaps you've found some of his productions on your own accord, or maybe you remember that he was one of the Judges for the community album "Soft Spectrum," (perpetuated by myself.)
I'm unsure if you know the personal details on Chris and me, but he is perhaps my first and best friend who actually introduced me into the world of production.
After 5 or 6 years of production, we've certainly gone our separate ways in terms of style; I prefer more mainstream genres such as House and Dubstep, while Chris tends to lean towards Chill, experimental electronica, and pure orchestrations.

So enough of the boring shit you probably didn't read anyway, and on to some interesting bits. NeonStorm just released his first ever album after producing for six-some years, so you can bet your first born to Satan that it will be fucking great. If you like really intricate auditory works of compositional elegance, I'd recommend a listen. If you like really obnoxious and repetitive pop songs, I'd recommend this too because its about time you listen to something that isn't complete shit. Instead of "you a stupid ho," try something that will encourage your brain to not shrivel and die, with the added bonus of not driving those who have to listen to Niki jump from high buildings.

But really, give it a try. Even if this isn't your cup of tea, it's most likely a tasty cup of coffee.

Excellent! I loved his Soft Spectrum song, and the rest of the album does not disappoint. Please let me know when it's up on Bandcamp and I can buy it.
