The biggest irony about you as a person.

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

The biggest irony about you as a person.

Postby Mr. Bigglesworth » 10 Jan 2013 19:09

So, what has happened in your life that you'd call stupidly ironic?

For me, 2 things.

1) being a musician who failed music class for seven years consecutively.
2) accidentally skiing full speed into a sign that said "Slow down!" and thusly bleeding all over the only ski resort in Australia.
I'm not here anymore, but if you want you can still just call me Mr. BigBagelBoggle!

Oh my Celestia, that's hilarious! Haha, umm... My biggest irony... hmm... You know, I'm not really sure. I think I don't have the right mindset to find personal ironies.

I look at my past as no big deal and my future as horrifying, though reality's more or less the opposite of that.

I have very broad shoulders and quite a wingspan (if the thing they say about "wingspan=height" was true, I'd be 6' feet tall >.>) but very small hands.

Seriously small hands.

I'm in ninth grade and currently taking Precalculus. And I don't even like math that much!

Also: my fingers are really long, perfect for learning the guitar or bass. Solution: learn the ukulele, which is freakin tiny!!

I hate all of the music classes I've ever taken (except the beginning guitar class I'm in right now) and yet a majority of my free time is spent on music.

I can probably think of a bigger irony, but I don't have the time now :3

I'm thinking about going into a career in theoretical and/or quantum physics, but I've always despised math and physics.

All the genres of music I love and listen to regularly I can't seem to create.

I kick with my left foot and write with my right. Not really an irony, I guess, but I guess it's normal for people to write with the same side they kick with and vice versa

I have the sort of mindset about school where I refuse to outright ignore assignments, hate getting a bad grade, etc... and I always do my homework and stuff, but i'm a giant procrastinator, so this conflict of drive vs lack of it leads me to taking forever to get my work done and often staying up too late to do it.
And probably some other stuff I can't think of right now.
My goal is to be capable of making any kind of music that strikes my fancy, and do it well.

I don't mean to be more of a dick than I already am, but in the 9th grade I took AP Calculus. Precalculus is a freaking joke of a class.

As for the biggest irony about me as a person? Well, I thought of something, but I'm not saying it, so suck it :P . Let's just I'm sometimes I'm weirder than I let on, or not as weird as people think.

Apparently I am pretentious, emotionless and overly technical. Take the supposed irony in that how you please.

Although I have the marks to get into a medical course at university, and everything is set up for me doing medicine and becoming a doctor in the future (think a family that contains two GPs who also own a medical clinic), I am completely against doing medicine. Also, university offers come out in like 11 hours :/

My great grandmother and great grandfather suffered greatly during socailist/communist regime after WWII, having lost their jobs and being forced to work in very small villages for the rest of their lives (they were teachers).
