I still don't know what to call this. As I'm making it, I've found that it's heavily influenced by "Strobe" by Deadmau5.

There's a part of my brain that tells me this might be a tad static, but the rest of me is liking this. It's currently midnight where I am and I'd have to say this piece is perfect for that. I feel like I could just stare at a wall while this played and be perfectly content.


As for any kind of critique, seeing as you mostly build/transition with subtle texture/context changes (and cymbals), I was kinda hoping for something more different at the end. I was imagining something more wide, far away, etc. That's all personal preference to a level, but I think the idea of contrast in general would aid your track. Solid production either way.

Thanks for the feedback, man. I'm afraid I didn't put much of that into this, though. It's still pretty repetitive, but I kinda set out to do that with this track in the first place.
