MLP Meets A SquareEnix Style

Key of C minor (modulates to Eb minor)
179 BPM

Discord Vs. Young Celestia. My first time doing a drum/bass rhythm so I kept it basic. For the most part, Discord is represented by the rhythm track and the bass line. Celestia is represented by an ethereal voice and strings which clash together making a rush-type battle sequence (being that she has to quickly defeat Discord). I kinda dug into my Final-Fantasy-fan-boy mode in making this.

might want to adjust your title to match the formatting that this forum uses (and try to get that embed to work). ;)

It's stuck in an awkward void between genres.
-It doesn't have a full enough gathering of instruments to be good orchestral.
-It doesn't have good driving lows/bass/kicks/whatever to be good dnb, and the period of the dnb drums is WAY too low.
-The periodicity of the song is too low in general.

1:30-1:50 is the best part of the song - more bass and more orchestral. Everything else feels like a WIP - empty, repetitive and unfinished.

2:50ish on, the brass samples or whatever sound really weird - they don't sound like instruments actually being played.

If you fix all of this, this song will be MEGA HYPE :D So please work more on it!
