[Pony][Brostep] With My Friends

This song started out as a joke. My goal was to make the most genetic mlp brostep song of all time. I couldn't add any chopped up fluttershy vocals but w/e.

As far as brostep goes this really didn't bring anything new to the table. Pretty generic song structure. Drops were okay but in the mid-end section it sounded like you were just repeating the same 2 bars over and over with the bass. If you did that earlier as well I didn't notice. Piano was really pretty, though, and as far as I can tell the mixing is pretty good too.

I'm really more curious about where the inspiration and title came from. You labeled it "pony" and used a pony visualizer, but I'm not hearing a connection to the show at all. The title's not giving me any hints - sounds too aggressive to just be about chilling out "with friends".

yeah, what Kyoga said was pretty much the dough of it. The things I noticed was that you need a bit of work in the mixing field. At the drop, the piano that kicks in mid way through takes over and seems to dominate the bass, which it shouldn't necessarily be doing that, they should be sharing the field. Also, very inappropriate titled, like Magnitude Zero said. This song has nothing to do with pony, other than you slapping the visuals on it. Moreover, it doesn't hold the mood of hanging out with friends, it holds a darker, angrier mood. If it were truly a song about "hanging out with friends", it would have a happy tone to it, or you would have visuals that represent hanging out with friends in a dreary "bad" way, such as drug dealer friends or emo/sadistic friends. Other than that, it was pretty good.
