Is there really a best pony? People say Fluttershy is the most adorable, but if you ask me, Fluttershy's adorableness is infinitesimal compared to how amazingly adorable Pinkie Pie is.

Many folks favor Applejack, the main reason being she's the most "normal" or the "friendliest" of the mane 6... So I guess that the more plain, uninteresting, and one-dimensional characters in a cartoon are better than the more interesting and entertaining ones.

Best ponies for me have to go to Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Twilight. Go home, Buttershy and Orangejack.

Although, "Hurricane Fluttershy" was quite a good episode.

In my headcanon, Celestia (and by extension Luna and Cadence) is actually a minor project telepath with a God complex. Sweetie Belle is a robot constructed of heat-resistant marshmallows, Pinkie is the physical manifestation of a friendly semi-reality-warping eldritch abomination, and Snips and Snails do not exist.
