So I made this.... I thought it turned out well, but it got rejected by EQD and I've had complaints about the EQ already :/

WHY WAS THIS REJECTED :O

Well, all I have to say, is that I'm intrigued at the combination of instruments/themes here. I liked it, but it was difficult for my puny brain find reconciliation in it all. In this situation, it would be difficult for me to think about a justifiable EQ state.

Still, the piquing of my curiosity was enough to get me to like it. But, then again, that sort of thing happens to me a lot :/

Ok so idea was really original and really good, just there was WAY too much lowend. Best thing i could say would be just to turn down your kick and tom drums altogether. They were extremely overpowering to the point where it drowned out treble and all i could hear was vibrating. Also, the piano line at 4:07 was completely random. There was no build into it, and no hints of the tone change that was going to be made.
I did like what you did with the vocals though, they were mixed in well and they really set the emotion for the song.
