My Little Pony: Journey For the Crystal Crown music project

Basically, this has been an idea going through my head a lot over the past several months, and I figure it's time to finally make it happen.

Now then, the basic premise of the project is this: We're gonna be making an OST of sorts for a fake Pony video game, with this basic plot we've set so far:

One day, Celestia and Luna had discovered the location of a powerful crown hidden within an island, one that only now had been discovered. The two also find out that someone....or more specifically, a group of someones is trying to get to it. As such, the two princesses had the Elements of Harmony, the Mane 6, go off to the island to both get to the crown first and stop this group before they did terrible things with it.

With that out of the way, here's a few more details to go by: This fake vidja game has 8 areas, plus boss music, a final boss track, title/option music and all the other stuff you'd normally expect from a game. With all that said, here's where the sign-ups come in.

The plan of attack is this: We're gonna split off things to give each person a set area/track to cover, based off of what they can do, and then they do their thing to be able to make what they think is both fitting to the area and would also sounds good in an actual game. Once all tracks are done, a final album (aka rar file or such) will be put together of the whole thing in proper order, and we can then even have (if it ever gets that far) a good ol' listen to it together, based on if/when it's all done.

Now then, you don't have to be fluent in game music at all to join up. So long as you can compose music and you don't take forever to get work done, you're welcome to join. As for how to join, it's simple: Just post and let us know you want to join, and send a skype contact request to me, and we'll go from there.

Anywho, once we have enough people, we'll get things going and hopefully this will end up being an awesome thing in the end.

Edit: Since the guys on Skype suggested to do so, here's the initial list of areas/levels we're gonna try to cover. We'll prob. do more if more join after these eight: Beach, Jungle/Forest, Lake/River, Mines, Factory, Digital/Cyber, Mountains and finally Frozen Tundra Peak.

This looks absolutely amazing.

I'd love to join, if there's any room. I LOVE video-game music OSTs and whatnot. Depending on the genre of the game (adventure, I assume it to be?), a village-esque theme, or something of the like, would be perfect for me.

A problem in my case, however: I have no skype account. Must I join skype to join this event?
And just how flexible can this event be? Is there a set deadline, etc?
