Omg seriously how do you people do those amazing bass leads?
Anyway, love this. Expected nothing less from you Maelstrom. Don't celebrate xmas but music like this can at least help me be festive instead of going, "Bah humbug!"

Well happy whatever it is you celebrate :3
Anyway with all the bass I've ever learned has come from this guy:
SeamlessR
He is a freaking genius.
If anyone out there reading this want's to know how to do any sort of FM type growly bass, go watch ALL of SeamlessR's videos :D ALL OF THEM

Hey, neat. Happy Holidays y'all.

I definitely think that the individual elements of the song are each spot on, and I don't see any mixing issues (not that I'm too knowledgeable on the subject, heh, sorry) or anything like that. I think it's really well done overall, so good work.

I should point out though that the song is hampered a lot in my eyes pretty much solely because of that bell melody during most of the song. Or, I guess I shouldn't say "most of the song" because I think it's totally fine during the start and middle with the plucks in the background and whatnot, that stuff sounds good, but when the heavy brostep/electro bass stuff is going on it just feels really out of place to me. I dunno, I guess it's just too conflicting in style with the crazy mechanical sounds or something. I think if it were a synth with the same melody I'd be fine with that, or even just removed entirely... I think even so the track would still sound christmas-y enough, at least to me.

But yeah, great job on the track and, keep up the good work!

Oh, and thanks for the link to those tutorials. I'm always on the lookout for stuff like that, so I appreciate it when people are willing to share.

Lol, this is hilarious and awesome at the same time. Great on the bass, and the song in general. Those bells just made my day :)

Well Twy, here's the same song with the bell lead removed, tell me if you like it better that way or not!

Personally it doesn't feel like the same song to me, but hey tell me what you think anyway!

And I'm glad you liked it balsamfir!

For my tastes yeah I prefer it without the bells. I think the bass synth totally still sounds cheery and christmas-y enough on its own, but it gets me more in the mood to fist pump and head bang that way too.

Thanks for posting the version without the bells; I appreciate you going out of your way. Seems everyone can agree that it's a sweet track either way though, so again great job!

Also; Merry Christmas!
