Alright, I've been through quite a few name changes.
I started out as DJ Amiti for about 2 weeks (it's a sword in Fire Emblem), then realized that that wasn't a good idea, and changed it to DJ Xero for my little hands-up/trance phase, because I've always like the idea of zero, or nothing. I then realized that there was another DJ Xero and a band called Xero, so I had to come up with something else.
ArtAttack stuck with me, I liked the idea between beauty (art) and violence (attack)

Turns out it's a british TV show.

Reminds me of coming up with mine haha... I was gonna go by Subliminal Kid, but that was taken by DJ Spooky [aka 'that subliminal kid']. I'm still surprised how both those words arranged in that order could have already been taken DX

I sat with a friend, testing out the abilities of FL Studio for a while. We proceeded to make some stupid stuff and exported the mp3.

We thought, "hmm, if we're going to listen to this in the car we need it on your iPod", which means it needed to go into iTunes, which made my OCD crawl when the ID3 tags had no artist name. "Quick, think of a name"

Friend: Uh... General...
Me: Mumble. Yeah that'll do, sure.

THE REST WAS HISTORY. Though he doesn't make music with me anymore.

Tephra was taken funnily enough on some sites, so I added an extra X for a FRAX sound at the end. And that's pretty much it. I did always find volcanoes quite interesting, but it was more the fiery connotations of the word and simply how cool I thought it sounded at the time =)

Back in my young teen days I came up with Luigicrowd (Mario 128, replace with Luigi and you have a crowd of Luigi... I was pretty retarded back then it seems). Eventually hated the name, short-handed it to LC. Which most places don't like the length of, so extended it with numbers to LC155. You can see where this is going. Finally decided I was sick of that too, and thought up something else.

Since I have a fascination with astronomy, I came up with Celestial as part of a name that could work (This was before I discovered MLP, so that part of my name has nothing to do with Celestia.) Obviously, the name was far too common to be used anywhere, so I started looking through ancient greek words to see if I could find anything there. Nostos is a the greek word for homecoming. (So essentially my name means planetary homecoming. What lol). Anyway, I liked how Nostos sounded so I put it on the end. Ta-da.

Even now I still think 'eh..' but only because I'm still used to having the same name for around 7 years beforehand.

too bad that there are 3 musicians named zorg now (at least), a dj in the usa, a band in france, and lil' old me.

that's partly the reason why i keep messing with my alias, so i am all of these: zorg, z0rg, z0r8, zor8, and zorg_gn which comes from a time when i recorded my classmates doing things, and gave them dvd-s with that as the title (gn, meaning is irrelevant)

so yeah... who's turn is it now? :3

"Miu" is an onomatopoeia of a sound from a recently born kitten. So yeah. "MiuMiuChuu" is like a reaction whenever a girl sees a cute kitten like; "OMIGOSHSOCUTEMIUMIUIWANNAKISSEM"
I know, it's that cheesy and sugary diabetic. But it stuck anyway.

"Miu" can also be written in Japanese Kanji with "Enchanting" and "Raven" characters. So it's actually pretty awesome. (- -)b

I wanted to make a new online name that I would use exclusively for ponies (I used to be really, REALLY afraid that someone I knew would find out), but I couldn't think of anything for a month or two. Early in september I was reading about the "national pony writing month" and thought "aw, writing a fanfic would be so cool!" So, since I'm taking a latin class at school, I knew that 'calamus' was latin for 'pen' (actually it means reed, but they used them to write, so its basically pen). After a few days, I decided that I wanted to add "Dash" to the end, both because Rainbow Dash is my favorite pony, and because I thought it sounded better.

"ForeverOdin" actually has quite a history with me. I've been using it for upwards of 6 years (so no, despite what A LOT of people assume, it has NOTHING to do with Forever Alone xD). and it's been my username for every forum I currently go to, my youtube, my gamertag, URLs, etc. And it's kinda gained a double meaning to me.
1. Odin has been my true, 'official' nickname since I was about 4, and I will, out of that respect, always ('Forever') keep it as my personal second name.
2. This one is the one I tell people most. In this one, it doesn't refer to my nickname Odin, but to the Norse God himself, and how I've always looked to him as a sort of 'mythological role model' that helps inspire me to strive for wisdom, strength, and creativity. I know it may sound silly, but it's been a good source of motivation. (And a THIRD hand it's also somewhat of a "Praise" to Odin. I lurve Norse)
