I was wondering when someone would make a thread about this cause it was on the spam thread. Weird, eh?
Anyway, for those who don't know, the remix sets are just seamless loops you can incorporate into your mix to give it a different feel. You can just make your own or sample from songs during the mix (which is a pain in the ass and more technically impressive) but these are a lot easier to work with.
They're designed to autosync with your master track's bpm (or the track currently playing) and they usually give you a wide variety of keys for each melody. This one they give does. Well I've only tried the deep groove one and its pretty good.
Honestly.....eeehhhhhhhh I kinda like this. I'll have to test things out with an actual mix before deciding to get the hardware but...eehhh I'm surprised at it truth be told. I just ignored it because, "Oh just use samples and loops to keep your mix going/add flare? I'll pass, that's why we have effects and loops" but it feels/sounds so different once you use it. If you want, I'll post a short sample of the Deep Groove one but other than that...yeah its impressive. Oh dammit, now I see why Native Instrument is giving stuff away for free so when you realize how great it is, you'll go and buy more >_<
Edit: Or you can hit a button and the melodic tunes will sync up with the song's key. Huh...
