No, you're right. I was going to bring this up. Silva Hound dun goofed. This isn't in A minor because its not in a minor key. This is in C major. And while they have the same key signature, it is down to sound quality and not just appearance.

Also, to anyone who wants it, I created a rough .midi file. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn close.

EDIT: Second part of MIDI HERE. This is the counter melody that I unfortunately forgot. Again, probably not perfect, but it should fit your needs just fine.

People (myself included) want to be spending these remaining days up until Christmas with their friends and family, not finishing up a track. Hell, some of us are probably writing a song to someone as a gift and can't possibly be expected to work on two tracks at once. You should maybe give us another week, because the 24th of December (IIRC) is a terrible due date.

Agreed, I'm nearing the finish of my project, and yet I haven't got enough time with work/holiday's to finish this track off by the 24th and it to be good enough to even stand a chance.

It's okay, HMage, that's about as far as a lot of us are getting. I would have loved to submit this for the competition, I've just run out of time. And, I couldn't get anything to sound right at :49. That's why it sounds so bland. I tried everything.
