I have too many ideas and not enough processing powah! Seriously though running a copy of FL through a netbook (I am poor it's all I got) doesn't really allow me for a whole lot of the intricacies that go into musical composition. As much as I love the sound of an orchestra I'm getting kind of tired of composing with GPO4 I want to use my Nexus XP also I want to get back on the Metal/Rock composing scene that died when my copy of pro tools decided to not work. Also I am currently working on a response to the latest episode. It's coming along okay I guess but I wrote it to have a guitar involved and speed drums so I'm having a difficult time transcribing it into the sources I have available.

My post is long...

Along with our main six unfitting themes (Rainbow Dash is almost done) we have a couple of other projects.

  • A song about Trixie (for Toastbeard)
  • A holiday song
  • Unfitting themes for Octavia and Vinyl Scratch
  • A Possible collab with someone

Reading some of the comments on here, it appears some of you guys need to learn the art of the backup. I learnt that the hard way back in August when I accidentally wiped the wrong drive. ;(

I did back up a previous version of my Ableton projects folder on a usb flash drive. But my puppy broke that drive before I got a new computer to transfer it to.

Hello folk! Newfoal here. Thought this might be the place to drop of a tune I'm currently working on. Before it's done it will be much longer, contain lyrics and be a bit rockier with some added guitar parts. I'm still pretty new to all this digitally produced music so bear with me!

Im doing some good shit! I have 3 or 4 srs projects going on! Not good at nameing genres but one is slow, dubstepinspired with one hell of a pretty melody. Other one is sad hardcore with piano and wubs. Third is some party hard speedcore. All three are almost done, just need some mixing (hopefully im not to lazy for thar).

And at the same time doing some bad speedcoreshits
Here, have the most fucked up earrape samplespamed glitchdrums you ever heard, which im useing in a "remix" of Humanoid by Renard.

Started writing a Luna inspired piece on the piano last night.
My legitimate playing beats out my FL Studio version by far. I should find a quality piano and record myself instead of producing.
Whatevs, have the smallest idea from the piece.
(Note: The clicking was my metronome for recording via midi input instead of automating by hand. It won't be there in the end. If I ever get around to finishing this.)

I'm workin' on lots and lots of stuff.

PwnyStep (Run for your Lives): https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83910367/PwnyS ... ves%29.mp3

Of Mice and Mares (may need a vocal at some point): https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83910367/Of%20 ... 0Mares.mp3

Ponies are Great (might need a higher male vocal (someone that can hit that high C w/out falsetto?). That's just how I feel about it): https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83910367/PoniesAreGreat.mp3

Pony Cannon: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83910367/PonyCannon.wav

Pony Hau5 (I have a generic vocal over it. Might be replaced with a ponified vocal): https://dl.dropbox.com/u/83910367/PonyHau5.mp3

And much, much more. A lot of my tracks are waiting for a good female vocal. However, I would need them to have enough time to send me multiple takes of each section of a song so that I can splice the takes and make the vocal the best it can be with minimal alteration of the vocal itself (it's a pain, and 95% of the time, the product won't be as good as the natural talent). Making autotuning transparent is very difficult with the tools I have.

And yeah, I know I use a lot of the Vengeance sounds, but if they sound good... then why not use them?
