<orchestral>Short String Quartet

I have a few questions too you, maybe if you take the time reading this :)

This song has 2 major tone changes which don't fit, I know that, and I generally will not change anything here.
This song has just been a side Project to try out some classical things and the times I worked on it where far stretched of one another what resulted in these tone changed. I just wanted to finish some Projects I had.

The question is, aside from the bad tone changes, how well is the arrangments? how well does it fit together? is it to monotone? Soes Something sound weird?

I make different kinds of music, often get told that It sounds like something for a Video Game because I make only instrumentals, never had a chance to make music for an actual game. I would love to.

Well, I'd just change it by having a slower section with big sweeping arpeggios pulling into a faster section where the song would break down, bringing in the lower strings, which would play the overall melody for a while and then break it down again, cutting out individual instruments until one remains, leaving it to play the melody, ending on the leading tone, then bring back the whole arrangement, lots of sweeps, lots of big movements, up until the crecendo, pull up in tone, drop it down to a conclusion.

But that's just me.

This is fine, aside from the problems you noted.

thanks a Lot for the Feedback :)
I don't know much about the theory of arranging. I'm planning on looking into it, so maybe I'll understand everything you are saying than.
I always want to improve in the future :)

In terms of orchestration/arranging, I think you could spread things around so that one instrument isn't just the solo voice, or one is just arpeggios, or one is just a bass line; shake it up! In terms of the composition, to me it sounds a bit confusing, maybe confused itself? I just feel like this doesn't actually go anywhere. Perhaps that was your intent, I'm not sure, but I get this claustrophobic LET ME OUT feeling. I think it's the lack of leading or building; stuff just kinda happens.

You should DEFINITELY make more though, as well as listen to as much as possible. I think once you are more comfortable with the process and develop a better understanding , you can make some good compositions.
