New Charity Album: Haiti Benefit

Deadline: beginning of November (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

Today, I heard a speaker representing a charity for helping the people of Haiti. These people make an average of one dollar a day, putting them in very bad shape, especially with the relatively recent earthquake. Thanks to this charity effort, we help by providing all sorts of food and clean water. We have also built a school where children can learn and get a bowl of rice, probably more than the food the rest of the family combined gets in a day.

As you can see, this is a worthy cause, and I was inspired to help. Besides donating my own loose change, it occurred to me I could be one of the people running one of those nifty charity albums on My Little Remix. I really want to help.

I want to run this as a pseudo-democracy. I'm the leader, but I need help. For instance, I'm grossly inexperienced in electronic music, so I could not be a sufficient quality control judge for that genre.

So, if any of y'all have any ideas for anything about this, please throw them out there.

I just started it too. Last night. But I think 2 months is a good amount of time to finish a track. Just putting in an hour a day would be 60 hours of work.

Wait, did Haiti get hit by an earthquake? I remember Haiti getting hit by a tsunami when I was in elementary school, about 8 years ago, and then the latest earthquake I remember in a poor country was just like 1-2 years ago or so in like... umm... that one place, somewhere in the Caribbean? hm. I'm not good at remember names of places.
