Well every pony i have been looking around and there seems to be next to no metal music in the fandom so i decided (Weeks a go) to start a brony Black Metal project as i play in a none brony metal band any way. So weeks later the first song is done i will still be doing lots of music with Screams From Equestria but i will have to work double as hard to make music for both.

Oh yeah! I love black metal! Bronydom definitely needs more metal, especially black metal and grindcore (and non metal stuff like most sorts of alt-rock and pretty much any punk. Where is all the brony punk?) Seeing as black metal is one of my favorite metal genres I am looking forward to this project.

While there is far less metal than electronic or orchestral music, there is actually quite a bit of metal in the brony fandom, maybe even more than any other broad rock genre (ex. Punk). A ton of minor artists do metal, there is usually at least one in each music of the day, it get's spotlighted frequently on Equestria, and there are several more popular metal musicians in the fandom such as:


Bronyfied
Cyril
Dethonator
Prince Whateverer
Tarby
NeedsMoreDjent/Pinkie Guy
Metalcore Pony
ISMBOF

...but yeah, the brony fandom could always use more metal. Except for some symphonic black metal stuff by Dethonator and this Post-Black Metal Boogie thing this is the only black metal I know of from the fandom, and this song is more brutal than either of those.

This is great. I'm actually currently writing an albums worth of weird techno, melodic death metal and metalcore mashup type of thing. I'm just waiting to record until I get some software that I need for drums. About half the songs have lyrics, and I can't scream so... maybe you would implore collaborating with me?
