I'll try to finish my track but I got to finish a school assignment first. If I don't e-mail it to my teacher before midnight, she won't accept it :(

The album has been released guys! http://camsy.bandcamp.com/album/the-third-beginning

Personally I felt like my track could've had a couple more months spent refining it, but that's speed composition for you.

To be honest though, in general I'm crazy surprised not only at the number of submission but also at the quality of those submissions, its fantastic!

Hah! I guess we had the same inspiration, however, the outcomes were quite different.

Hey C∆m§¥ my track was Joined The Herd's song, i just remixed it and I definitely can't take full credit. I decided on not entering this last week as i didnt do it in a week (it was from when it leaked) and i hadn't asked the original author if it was ok to enter it, which is something i was going to do IF i was enterting it, which is why i didn't make it an actual submission.

I think it might be best to drop it off please. Sorry for the confusion....

I prefer yours. It's much more dynamic and alive sounding and there is that thing where it has an actual flugelhorn or at least an instrument resembling a flugelhorn and not *cough* random trumpet..

Your tender and deeply thought provoking track as well mate! Your track and DX's track fit extremely well back to back. It's crazy how emotional this album is. I was not prepared for this.

Please don't remove this track. :( Many happy tears were shed because of it's feels.

Oh and C∆m§¥!! That was delightful, humorous and infectious. XD It's stuck in my head so good.

I've renamed the original artist to JoinedTheHerd. Yeah using my magical logic studio pro, I converted the song from .mp3 into .aiff, if you could link me a .wav or something, I'll happily replace it! :)

Ah, that's good :)

Now, for my feedback on the individual tracks:
Dark Hearts Rise - Very professional. Strong beat, with a catchy melody. Although It sounds allot like something else, and in places the vocals are a bit out of time. Overall, very enjoyable.
The Activation of the Crystal Heart - Very good work with the bells, but drum sounds a bit thin. It's rather repetitive, but ends before it gets annoyingly so.
Pink Under Cover Spy - o_0 ok... Not the sort of stuff usually enjoy, but I found this quite amusing.
It Has Returned - Serious message followed by crowd cheering and happy music. Music is alright, but I fail to see much relation to the episode.
Pikie's Flugelhorn Funk - FLUGELHORN! :D Another really strange one. I'm not keen on the robotic voice, but otherwise I really like it.
Our Crystal Longing - Not much positive I can say about this one. The vocals sound out-of-tune, and I don't like the lines one after the other without a break. The overlapping melodies at the end is the song's biggest redeeming feature.
Crystallus Fabula - Captures the mood of a shining city whose inhabitants feel lost really well. The flute can be a bit overpowering at times, but otherwise It's a really soothing track. Possibly the best track in the album.
Failure Success Song (luukg2) - Really cool synths you have there. The bells cause a discordance with the rest of the music early on, but otherwise a really good piece of music.
Failure Success Song (JoinedTheHeard + Freewave) - Interesting choice to record your own vocals (sounds slurred in places and "recite" is pronounced strangely). Synths are good, drums are strong. Strategically placed at the end of the album.

So those are my opinions on the tracks. C∆m§¥ gets a big thankyou from me for going to all the effort to organise this. If anybody wants me to tear their track apart and pick out everything wrong with it, feel free to ask. ;)

Ok then...

Twilight's Ordeal - Sounds representing dark magic is too scratchy. "Stairs" leitmotif used too often (should have made another melody for other things). Should have used different sound for normal magic. Short pause before lead in to the gravity-switch. Gravity-switch is just... eh. Choir after gravity-switch needs to be at least 20% cooler. Some beat-clashing close to the end. Other than that, I'm satisfied with it.

:P I was just joking, no need to review your own track.

It is interesting to note, however, how critical you are of your own track. Then again, noticing your personal mistakes is a way for improving your own form in the future ;)
