But say I'm selected, they only have my mp3 for judging when I know they need a WAV, which means I need to send them a WAV before the album gets released. I need to know if I'm selected before the release date.

my presumption was that you would have sent him both, but if for some reason you make it AND we can't find a WAV that you've submitted to be your song, we'll probably just contact you to get it.

I was told by senn to only send in my mp3 for judging, no one has my wav yet so I was just wondering when I would find out if I make it on so I can submit that in.

It will be your responsibility to look at that list and make sure you send me the .Wav file, I'm not hunting you guys down.

When you send me the wav, please format it like

artist - song title

Make sure you get the spelling right and the format, as well as the name you would like to be called correct.

I'd also like to know - I'm not sure about the other 3 judges, but I'm writing notes on each song. I'd like to know if you guys would like me to release the notes I've made when the scores come out (keeping in mind the critiques might be more harsh than some are used to.)

I've gotten through 17 of the around 40 songs, and they are sounding really good.

Also, the judges noticed some songs that were VERY well done, but were flawed by easy fixes in mixing and mastering, e.g. clipping. In that case, if we agree that we like your song but it needs to be mixed better, we will try to contact you so you can get another chance to fix the errors and hopefully get on the album

Of course not! But they are just very frank, but perhaps that is good. After we've selected the songs I'll put up the judges scores for all the pieces and my notes for whoever wants to see.

I'm going to judge more tracks today, but in this i'm judging honestly and sincerely.
The feedback is general so you can infer and interpret it in your own way. I'm not going to say "Turn that synth down 2db".

And I wouldn't expect you to. But critical feedback, no matter how general, should give me at least an idea of some things I could do to make my song better.

So I was gonna ask if judges wanted to stay anonymous, and I asked everyone but Kyoga, but it seems he already said so hahaha. But anyway, the judges were originally going to remain anonymous, but I feel like they should be recognized due to the amount of effort that they put into judging on their free time.
