Turns out electro house and swing actually go really well together. Maybe a few bronies here can build on this idea, or make something similar? Like I was thinking maybe fusing electro house with Greek bouzouki music. Let's see if any of us can make that happen.
I always enjoy doing something until I have to. Good thing I'm supposed to be doing stuff other than music.
Sorry if I came off as a bit dickish there. I'm actually not 100% familiar with the genre either. I literally read the description to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNjvHAQ0IdY and searched Electroswing and the one you linked was the first to show up.
Electroswing has kind been around for awhile and done by a few people in the brony community (and outside it of course too) for at least 7 months but not by a lot of people. It's not as well known as a lot of genres or as vague as others so don't feel TOO bad that you're just coming across it now.
Here's a thread on a forum i frequent that just started up on the subject of new genres that includes it and conversations on recent ones such as Chillwave, Witch House, Future Garage, Seapunk, Cloud Rap, Electro Swing, Vaporwave, Digital-Cumbia, Moombacore, Moombahton, Post-Dubstep, Trap Music, and Trapstep. (I'm TheScientist on there)
Can't hurt to perouse on there and get caught up on what's going on and also perhaps get inspired musically. A lot of of those genres aren't being made any brony currently.
Wow. I actually do not like this genre so far. (Which is weird bc I like EVERYTHING) It just sounds like sped up electro with some jazzy (Excuse me if I just blatantly threw around the term "jazz" incorrectly. I was born in 1998 and I have no clue about anything that was not made with a computer. To me, if it has swing and a saxaphone horn thing in it, it's jazz) elements thrown in. I'd rather just listen to hard dance. :P
