I was disappointed as well. I was expecting some intense shiz. I've lost power for longer during regular storms (and don't even remind me of December 2009).

I guess it was a little overhyped. Except in New York, I heard their subway tunnels were flooded, and some power transformers blew up can caught like 80 houses on fire, and the fire department couldn't get to them because road flooding.

Other than the power being out everything is fine with me. There's a lot of shit out on the road and I've seen a couple of houses damaged by wind and whatnot. Hopefully everybody else is getting through just fine.
I like to think I'm well-rounded because I'm not really good at anything.

Neither in poland.
I guess that a trip to USA would be enough to me, as I'm pretty sure that a tornado is not something i want to live with forever.

I've had tornadoes here. They were even bigger pushovers than the hurricane.
I always enjoy doing something until I have to.
Good thing I'm supposed to be doing stuff other than music.

Not as bad as we thought it was? A pushover? Shoreline cities are pretty much gone, NYC is just hell (from what I've heard), there's pretty much NO gas left in NJ, and quote a few people have died. I've been gone for the last few days because my neighborhood lost power. Right now I'm in my grandmothers house. I don't think we overestimated this storm, we severely underestimated it. Or maybe I'm just pissed because my birthday is more or less ruined. (It's on the 8th of November)

It was a pushover up in Mass and down in Virginia because they overhyped it's effects on the more northward and southward parts of the coast. NJ and NY they definitely estimated just fine (or maybe even underestimated), from what I've heard they got hit like a freight train.

Yeah, I know it hit a lot harder up north, I was just talking about in Virginia, because the worst part down here was some moderate rain and gusts of wind.

Mostly just the fact that there's no power. Some say it won't come back until the ninth.

Well the way the media here in Australia has presented Sandy, the damage done seems pretty damn bad, and this might be the one time I DON'T doubt the media here.

Hope nobody got too badly hurt or anything like that.

You're missing out. It's a party in there. An incoherent party, maybe, but a party nonetheless.
