Been pretty busy myself. Fully finished my song for the Fanfic Appreciation album and I'm currently working on my submission for Derpy's Wings, which will be Minimal House. Also got a rock song in the works, although I'm not sure about it.

I recently found myself making a boring rimix

No, the remix isn't boring, it's a remix of "boooring"

I've been working on this on and off (mainly off, though) since June. It's gone through tons of revisions, and I think this is my best work so far when it comes to mixing guitars. Still needs some polishing on the bass and the drums, but I'm quite pleased with it at the moment! It's gonna be yet another angsty Scootaloo song :3

A Five tracked Symphonic Rock/Metal EP. Heavily inspired by Metal Bands who tend to incorporate story in their songs. An example would be Sonata Arctica's Deathaura or Rhapsody of Fire's Legendary Tales. The songs are centered on an alt Universe wherein the thousand year curse of the Crystal Ponies had been lifted and they finally rose up against Sombra's Reign. The Six Main Ponies will not be part of the story though.

That sounds awesome.

Also, my "Chords" submission is finished; now I'm deciding on what to do next. :D

Although my full idea queue is on page 2 and up to date ...

I've got a Dr. Whooves electro house collab with MAtthew N finishing up and should be complete next week
Will have an old school hip-house track that's part parody/cover (mostly done after 2 days) just need a diva to help sing (if i can get one)
Old school hip-hop / soul fusion with music sampling (have lyrics and most of sampling done)
SGAP Deep House remix mostly done
Need to remaster, remix, and EQ better a load of songs for 3 albums/comps i have planned

I want to learn a bit more about the sound design involved in the genre before I take it any further (and get out that horrid Firehive bit). Thanks though!

Shhh DON'T TELL EVERYONE

 You're right though. I haven't heard that one in ages actually! Him an H8_Seed are really the only DnB I enjoy funny enough! No surprise the influence is apparent!

Well, my 'hiatus' from music has proven to lead to many new songs. So I'll go through my song file and tell you guys about projects I have that I intend to finish.

1. A Lavender Town Remix
2. A Green Hill Zone Remix (maybe)
3. A Pallet Town Remix (again maybe)
4. A Dark World Remix (I'm thinking dnb)
5. An untitled chiptune-trap-smoothdubstep hybrid
6. An experimental dubstep song (I wanted to try out a weird bass I made)
7. A remake of one of my first songs ever (not too happy with this one, might scrap it)
8. A glitchy dark song at 96 BPM.
9. A Levels remix
10. A Lost Woods remix.
11. A Song of Storms remix.
12. A dnb remix of Oh-Key!'s 'The Riff' (nice track, you should check it out)
13. A collaboration with Peak Freak
14. My Soft Spectrum entry, a calm house track tentatively titled "In The Dark"
15. A nearly complete liquid drum and bass track.
16. A remix of Makkon's Winterglade (had this one planned for a while, just now got started)
17. A track for the Community House Mix.

Some of these were from before my minor hiatus.

Yeah... I'm one of those guys who gets an idea for a track while working on another track, so I go start that off and start working on that, then I get another idea and so on and so forth. I fully intend to finish just about all of these though.

Heh, you should see my project list, I keep it in a word doc and throw ideas for songs in it whenever I have random inspiration. I hope most of mine get done someday, that would be cool.
To update my priority list, I have
-A possible collab for the community house mix
-A few classical guitar songs
-Vocal test so I can figure out how to do legit vocal songs
My goal is to be capable of making any kind of music that strikes my fancy, and do it well.

Some glitchy hip hop thing I think.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/83846593/Scratch%20That.wav

For some reason it's making a weird kind of high-pitched noise, yet it didn't do it when I listened to it before... Hopefully that won't be a problem later.

There is a significant lack of dnb in this fandom, so I figured I'd try it out. It's turning out less dark then I intended, but I suppose that fits the character this was inspired by better :)

I have said this many times, I am terrible at criticism, constructive or otherwise, but I can say that it's pretty cool!

As for me, I made a lot of progress on my first guitar arrangement, so it's going well!

1. Working on my first ever rock song complete with a roughly 16 measure bass solo (might probably add more later on) and guitar solo. Its pony related and I'll be singing it. I'm excited except for the singing part. My voice is way too deep even for the bass section of a choir.

2. Doing a remix of Mr. Bigglesworth's Crash Course in DnB.

3. Hopefully have an EP out of that rock song.

4. LOSE WEIGHT! PUT THAT CAKE DOWN FATTY!
