spend time mixing and mastering too if you have time! it will make all the difference

^^This. Take your time with mastering, people. I went through about 3 or 4 different masters until I reached the one I have now for my track, and it's definitely been worth it. Do consider the panning, EQ'ing and dynamics of the piece as a whole before putting the 'finished' stamp upon it. Your ears will thank you afterwards!

This is almost done, just need a solo and such, but not much change in the few weeks, only mixing changes lately. I'm waiting for one guitar solo though and that'll be it for the sound design. I also need a new name because I'm now starting to think A pony's bliss sounds a little mediocore.

It seems as if the acoustic guitar is getting distorted by the amount of compression. Watch out!

I updated it btw so I think I got rid of the distortion by the compression. I also changed the EQ so there's less of the mid.

But I have bad news now. Since today, the project file freezes in loading 2% and my DAW crashes. I'm going to send it to the other comp. and see if it works there. If it doesn't.. well... idk lol. I'll think of something else to do if it doesn't.

*EDIT* does anyone know how to read log files? Same problem's happening on my other comp. but
the turbo boost doesn't seem to be working completly as the max is 3.1 but right now it's sitting at 2.9 GHz when I open the project.

New solo, all I can really change now would be the mixing on the master track, and the guitar solo that's at the end. Please tell me. Since this will be the final if there are no problems in it. :c.

Can't believe we've gotten near the due date so quickly. I can't want to listen to your submissions. To answer submissions, yes, we have one more judging slot open, but no, you can't have it. That's for the other four judges to consider, we're choosing people who are good critiques and really know a wide variety of music.

Also when naming your songs, I'm going to tell you to avoid anything with the word "pony" or any of the ponies' names in it, as well as show phrases. Not because I'm not a brony, but because it's just kind of tacky. I mean, we all have probably seen a song named 20% cooler, or Canterlot Chill. Keeping this in mind, the name of your song will NEVER affect it's score when judging. Just a tip.

Also there's no limit on song length right? Cuz mine's just under 6 mins

Mine was like 8 before but I cut out like half because it dragged on. I'm doing chill prog house though, so 8 mins wouldn't be too long now that I think about it
