<O><P> "I Am Your Shadow" [DARK TRANCE]

I actually made this track around mid-2010, so it's not technically pony related, but it still manages to stand as one of the best things I've made. Plus, it seems fitting for Nightmare Moon, but I'll leave that for you to decide. Enjoy!

Love the dark bass and kicks in the beginning. You did a great job of setting the mood and creating an immediate catch for the listener.

The bass could definitely use some better mixing. There is a lot of clipping in this song that is rather distracting. This is caused by the song being too loud during the mixing process. When you export the file it 'clips' the excess volume. This can be fixed by either putting a limiter on the master bus, or lowering the volume (or combination of both).

There is also a lot of competition in the lower frequencies. You got a lot of synthesizers that have bass in them, and that can stack up and cause the track to sound very muddy. You should put a low-pass filter on all the instruments that don't need any bass. Typically, you only need one bass sound. This could also be whats causing the clipping.

You do have a good song here, but the mixing is whats killing it.
