Maybe share number through Personal Message? I don't know how it is with you in USA, if it's okay to share in Forums? We don't need to be afraid of spam.

Well skype for PC. But you might be traveling and you have just your smartphone with you. I don't think you know their facebook accounts ^^

You don't need to sms. That's only if you want to send it to a phone number, you can just use Skype chat. And it isn't by Microsoft, they just purchased it, because they want to be the overlords of VOIP calling.
Also, almost everyone from here already has a Skype, that they already use for communicating with other artists.
