This is my first attempt at doing a full out string piece. I usually do ambient electronic. Let me know what you think and your suggestions. I kinda just threw the together the end so it might be sloppy and probably not the best transition but once again tell me what you think. Also I want to know what parts I should maybe shorten or extend or leave the same. Im wondering if the last chord is ok to end on. Its been pretty difficult creating this and I want all the opinions I can get.

Pretty nice so far, but you're very VERY rooted in the tonic. The piece sounds like it would vastly improve if it ventured outwards in harmony a bit more. Maybe move out to another key, or to some more chords less related to the tonic. At the moment, it's firmly rooted and shows no signs of leaving, which is a bummer.
The movement between instruments was nice though, so good job with that! Just be more adventurous with harmony.

First I was all:
"Don't listen to Dr Dissonance - the last time he experienced any sort of tonic was at a pub"

Then I was all:
"Yeah, actually, something needs to happen." He's spot on about harmony. Also trying to blend your strings to make them more legato might help a lot.

ok thank you so much thats exactly the feedback I was looking for. Thats probably the reason why it kinda drags on in the middle. The problem is I used a lot of the same chords and similar progression throughout. I will try to venture out a bit and maybe change the key or change chords but that may be difficult integrating that as of now. Im not the best with music theory(In the process of learning) though so we will see how it goes.

The Sounds are really nice. But as said above, it kinda drags on and it would be nice to hear more variety.
I actually have the same Problem, I just never can't leave the the state I created in a song and it starts dragging on and on, at some point I say, "forget it" and yet another song is abandoned.
I make different kinds of music, often get told that It sounds like something for a Video Game because I make only instrumentals, never had a chance to make music for an actual game. I would love to.
