If you mean classic prog rock in the style of Kansas or Pink Floyd or something, HECK YES.

But seriously, if anyone wants to work with me on odd time signature progressive metal with weird chord structure and really heavy breakdowns (yet again in odd time signature), hit me up. I play an 8 string guitar, so I know how to Meshuggah, Periphery, and even Animals As Leaders a little.
And if you want to hear a guitarist use slap bass technique on guitar, I can do that. I'm also fairly good at tapping.
Concerning my interests, I want to be able to make something very melodic, but really heavy, djenty, and even brutal in some parts. Meaning that I will be using the clean channel a lot more than typically seen in metal, percussive techniques, chords that abuse the 9th interval (because it sounds pretty), epic djent guitar tones (that heavy ass crunch you hear in Periphery), melodic tapping arpeggios on the clean channel on the lower register of my 8 string (more percussive sounds), slap bass technique (on my guitar), 7/4 time signatures, maye some 11/8 time signatures, chords that use more than 6 strings (because power chords alone are boring), pinch harmonics in breakdowns, and some light shredding.
I'm not an all out shredder on guitar. You can get Kyoga for that. But I can make some bizarre technical stuff that sounds awesome. I might be a rhythm guitarist, but damn I will make it look badass.

I know. I'm sorry I'm so busy this month.
Maybe we can collab some other time?
