<Pony><Original><Instrumental>Vertigo

Song is finished and released. I don't need any more feedback, but you're free to critique it as long as it's constructive.

Well I uploaded this song yesterday as I thought it was finished and good, but it was way too repetitive and boring, so I took it down and attempted to fix it. This time, I'm going to ask for as much feedback as possible.

This is my first serious original pony song, and I want it to be at least better than my remixes, so seriously: anything you feel isn't right about this, TELL ME.

Thank you; here it is:

The snare drum sound is pretty high-pitched and it can get hard to listen to it after a while. Also, i'd say the second refrain needs more variation to set it apart from the first. Maybe an additional subtle voice or change the melody a little bit, or both.

I heard you use Mixcraft. Do you use the vsts that ship with Mixcraft or do you use 3rd party instruments?

Since this thread somehow got revived, I'll answer your question.
I don't use Mixcraft anymore (though I did when I made this song), but when I did I used their reverb/delay VSTs but my own mastering VSTs that I bought. Also, Sidekick 4.0, for side-chain compression.
