Hmmm, really? Okay, I'll definitely keep that in mind for the next song I make.

I did it for the few instruments that swell up when I don't want them too, but I guess I overdid it and killed the dynamics. Thank you for saying :3

Well, I didn't use a timpani, but the overcompression is still noted. I really need mixing tips ^^; If any of you want to just throw out a few things one should and should not do, I would greatly appreciate it.
