Hello, I'm new here. Literally created my account seconds ago.

I Use FL Studio and I suck at it, but I'm getting there. Expect some pretty crappy/average stuff from me.

I like Pretty much every genre of music, but I usually listen to Techno, Trance, Dubstep, Classic rock, and Metal. And then a few singles of other genres. I like instrumental music the most.

Hi, I'm TranquilHooves, and the biggest reason I got into making music was the fandom.
I'm using Fl Studio 10 at the moment cause I'm too lazy to learn Ableton and I've heard it's
hard to use, even though most major EDM producers use it. I'm currently still trying to find out what genre I'm doing cause I'm just pressing buttons and music is coming out/trying to find a genre that I kind of like.
Probably trance, hence the name.

aHEM! Anyway; hi! I'm RestrainedMadness! I'm a Norwegian bloke studying in the UK, and I probably spend more time on music and pony than my studies! Probably not a good thing overall, but hey! What'cha gonna do?

I've been playing the guitar on and off for about 8 years now, and it has become somewhat of a passion to me!

I got into ponies through a friend of mine. I was reluctant at first, and it actually took me five or six episodes to actually get into, but MAN am I glad I did! What made me realize I wanted to make pony music was DerpyHooves' 'Twilight's Sonata', which I sort of just bumped into, not having discovered Equestria Daily yet.

The first track I made was electronic music, something I hadn't done before, but which I quite liked doing. When I realized that I could record instruments with my mic, however (which was an obvious fact I managed to completely overlook for around half a year), my electronic music escapades have been left by themselves lately, in favor of guitar-based music!

I play alternative rock music, with influences from every (hyperbole) other genre there is!

When it comes to music tastes I listen to almost everything, be it pony or non-pony

I'd love to collab, but I'm a bit ...shy, I guess, so I've yet to approach anyone about it. If you're interested in a collab with me, please message me! I'd be very happy to!

Hello MLR!

I'm UltimateRiff! I'm 18 years old and I currently live in Texas. I'm fairly new to making my own music, although I've played piano and guitar (both electric and acoustic) for a couple years.

My DAW of choice is LMMS and I use Audacity for just about all my audio editing needs. I will likely stick with mostly electronic music at first, but I'll try to expand and experiment in other genres.

On that note, I enjoy listening to just about any genre, except for some forms of rap and Celtic. My favorite brony artists are Omnipony, The Living Tombstone, Glaze/WoodenToaster, and Makkon. My favorite mainstream artist/genre changes frequently, but I'm currently into 80's and 90's pop.

As for favorite pony, mine are as follows: Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are tied for best pony (show-wise), Lyra and Derpy are both best fandom pony, Crackle is best dragon, and Luna is best princess. DJ Pon-3 is also pretty cool.

Apart from music and ponies, I enjoy writing, drawing (although I don't think I'm that good at either), gaming, watching anime, and on occasion, reading.

I have accounts elsewhere, such as on YouTube and SoundCloud, (where I will probably be posting most all of my music). I also have a FaceBook page and a deviantArt.

Im turning 17 in a few days and I live in Sweden.

I started makeing music when I got FL studio as a burp-tay pezant a bit more than a year ago, and so far I think its been the best present I ever got. I have been like constantly produceing (bad for school, but still). I have learnt alot from it and Im geting better at it all the time, now If I could only get some listeners

So. Ive been produceing for a bit more than a year now, I have no real studio, but hay, who needs that when you got three shitingly huge speakers blasting you with 100 watts of bass from all directions. As you may gues I LOVE bass, and I guess that is reflected in my music.
Nah. In all seriousnes, I like bass, but I want it to sound good as well.

Other than FL-studio I have have played the drumms since the age of 5 (so proud of that number). I have used my drum kit for my music, but since I dont have enough good microphones (yet) those recordings are in a horribad quality. I also play a bit of bass, but not that much.

Not all my music is pony related, but most of my recent stuff is... Oh yeah, geners. I dont realy keep to one genere, but its generally heavy forms of electronic music, like dubstep, hardcore, gabber... I realy have no idea what genere some of my music is, so I cant tell you much more about that.

I have Soundcloud and I have youtube. I have a bunch of older music which I now dont realy like, but hay, it shows I've made a shitload of progress! Most of my new stuff is on soundcloud. Its easy enough to find me, just search FLAOFEI and I should pop up.

Oh, and since I forgot to post how I got into ponies in my post, I shall do so here:

I was browsing the Minecraft Forums, when I stumbled upon a poster having a .gif as his avatar(The bit from Feeling Pinkie Keen where Twi gets crushed by all sorts of shit). It amused me, but I didn't think much of it. About a month later, I was browsing KYM when I saw the FiM article. It interested me, but I dismissed it as something I'd never get into(heh.).

Another month later, I was playing on the server that I usually did(Did being past tense- the server's full of haters now), when a few people started making jokes utilizing memes from the show. I vaguely remembered them from the article, so I asked them about it. From there, I've got the standard conversion story: They convinced me to watch it, I did, I was in denial at first, then I accepted it.

I only started making music in June.

So that's it! Later, foals!

I would very much like to keep my true identity hidden until I get to know other people here, but I go by my username/stage name Blitz-13. I am 15 yrs. old, live in Lancaster California, use FL Studio 10 for whatever experimentations and productions I can come up with, and play a mean bass and guitar. I constantly try to learn the ins and outs of various genres, but I want to meld that with Rock and Metal. I do try to be kind to everypony else, so I hope to have a nice friendly relationship with as many users here as possible.
In the long run, I would rather stick to my own music instead of collaborating, but ask nicely and I just may agree... which is most of the time I'll say yes, depending on my situation.
After about 3.5 years of playing guitar self-taught, I started taking some lessons and still raising my level of playability by a longshot.
To wrap it up, I can't decide on my favorite pony, but for sure, it's going to be Princess Luna, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Octavia, and Vinyl Scratch/DJ P0N-3

So, I'm new to making music and I don't think this'll be my future, but I'm having so much fun composing I'm gonna stick with it. Apart from music I draw and I write (short stories), and overall I'm using the few months of freedom I have now to improve my creative skills. Because creating stuff is so satisfying.

A thing (or two) you should know about me: For some reason, I realy like the number 6. Like, freakishly. I'm not entirely sure why, but what the hell.
Also, I'm not very good with Ze Englishes, so I just can't keep with this forum and I'll be skipping a lot of threads. Sorry about that.

A thing you shouldn't know about me: Well, it's kind of embarrassing... and I haven't even told my family, but... I like this show for little kids about ponies and friendship. Yeah. I know.

Hey everyone! I'm Isaak and I'm probably better known as Shiropoint, creator of music videos like Race Like Rainbow Dash, Shine Like Rarity and so on. I like "Isaak" better though for forums and stuff.

Anyroad, next to editing and animating I've been dabbling in making one hour studiomixes as part of a series I've dubbed Pony: Remix Culture. The mixes were born out of a love for the sheer creativity and variety of the music side of the community and, being a music lover myself, I wanted to document and celebrate it in some way. Enter one hour megamixes!

As I learn the mixing is slowly evolving into something bigger, much like how my PMV work has evolved into full on animation, and more recently I've started mashing songs together like this Winter Wrap Up Mash Up.
I think the most involved project I've undertaken so far is a Balloon Party Mash Up/Mix... thing. I'm really not sure what to call it, but the idea is to take every song on Balloon Party & After Party and mash them up into one grand mix.

Maybe I'll end up creating original music some day...

Anyway, I decided to join the forum after being absolutely blown away by Ponystock. If you saw a dude with glasses and a Ponies: The Anthology II shirt rocking out, that was me

I would start off by saying that I do not consider myself to be an MLP musician... more of a very amateur musician that happens to be a Brony... but I am indeed a brony, and I do indeed write music, so hopefully that qualifies me to lurk these forums and stalk all of you!

And that is most likely what I'll be doing, since I don't actually tend to write music that has anything to do with MLP, which kind of excludes me from relevancy I'd imagine... but I'm usually pretty shy and tend to be much more of a lurker than a participant anyway.

But I figured I might still introduce myself, 'cause why not? I've been writing music for about half a year; mostly electronic but of different styles within that limitation. I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but it's been a lot of fun and hopefully I'll get better.
